All, though particularly Dom since she's conscious for all of it: As Hake and the Walker die you finally have a chance to look at where you are, and have questions like, WHERE THE HELL ARE THE REST OF THE DAMN UNCHAINED?!

The question is answered though when you see the golden veil separating the room from the Unchained complex, the Independents apparently pulled a fast one and got the building to read the door as something that needed a containment seal. On the other side you can see the distorted forms of several of the unchained who are trying to do something to the barrier, but you're just too damn tired to care. The Praetor's link has broken completely and most of them are on the ground, unconscious and worse. Only a few remain standing at all, and Morgan isn't among them.

Either the building rights itself, or the unchained succeed in whatever they were trying to do, either way the barrier falls after a very Very tense couple of minutes.

Dominique: Exhausted as you are you administer aid for as long as you can, once the barrier drops there are many more Unchained sweeping past and shouting at you. Or maybe they're talking and asking if you're all right, it's all a little fuzzy at this point. The adrenaline that's been keeping you up through the chain of fights flees, and you're barely able to walk under your own power, let alone think.

Taric: You continue sleeping, dreaming of being carried into a warm bed by a choir of angels while a thousand screaming naked women throw little pickles at you. It's oddly enjoyable.

Tarran: After the barrier drops you just recline in the doorway, flagging down the first unchained you can from your perch. You inform them about Corporal Yvonne and the Prisoner back in the cafeteria. Once they manage to find a path for you that's mercifully free of any remaining resistance you hike back with a group of unchained and help carry Taric back to the barracks, collapsing into one of the beds yourself shortly after.

Trol: You sort of stand there staring at hakes blasted corpse and the mutilated walker, drifting off even as the barrier goes down behind you. The first enthusiastic clap on the back coupled with the cheering nearly buckles your tired knees, and you feel a pair of shoulders being slipped quickly under your arms and supporting you back to the barracks.

All, Later: You wake up in bed, again. You really hope all the excitement in your life doesn't end with you in bed.

Actually on second thought that doesn't sound so bad.

There's a note stuck above your head where you can't miss it, identical for each of you: "Slept for 2 days, come see Matriarch as soon as you can walk. -Kehon"

Tarran has the "Tarran Bug", a bug which causes the affected character to repeatedly hit teammates while dual-wielding instead of whatever the hell he is shooting at.

Well you would have been fed some while you were semi-conscious, but yeah, on your first individual update you would have been very hungry and very thirsty.

You dirty prognosticating devils.   :o

Dom awoke in the female dorm, stretched, debated rolling over and going back to sleep. After a moment she figured that if she didn't get up someone would make her anyway, and after actually looking around noticed the note. "Damn, two days? What the hell," she muttered, crumpling up the paper and tossing it into a corner. "Knew I was wore out, but shit..." Her stomach growled at her, but she ignored it in favor of looking herself over for the moment. Good. She didn't have any of that gunk on her, and there was a clean jumpsuit to wear. She put it on and decided to go for food before seeing about the matriarch. Maybe if she was lucky her allies would be at the cafeteria, too. Then after they went to the meeting she planned to go train awhile, see if she could get better at this psionic stuff. She had to admit, it was kind of fun/funny to use.

Trol Grane

Go eat, bragging all the way

You're awake, you're hungry, and you killed the big bad guy. That's got to be worth a bite to eat. You slide out of bunk and join Tarran and Taric as they head to the mess.

---

Tarran Smith

"Two days?! Jeez. Well, we should get a meal first."

Follow Taric.

Damn two days is a long time to be out, you get out of bed easily. This rings a bell suddenly and you snap all the way awake, by rights there should be stabbing pains from the bullet wounds in your body. The funny thing is that there aren't any, feeling under you shirt you find only smooth skin and tiny puckers of scar tissue. Damn, that explains the two days, you feel fine though. You follow Taric to the mess.

---

Taric Sizier

Get up and head to the cafeteria. Odd are we're hungry.

You aren't feeling it now, but if you've been unconscious for two days then you're probably going to be hungry as soon as the rest of your body catches up to your mind.

Dominique Wakeman

Well you're glad you work with the masters of clean clothing. You work your way into the clean and bullet hole free jumpsuit, noting that like your ribs earlier that your wounds have closed. Psychic is useful. It strikes you as vaguely odd that you are clean though, the thought of someone else washing you is a little strange. If the others are a tenth as hungry as you they'll have put off heading to the matriarch in favor of a good meal, and you head to the mess immediately.

The mess, All: The mess has a decent crowd in it by the time the four of you stumble in, Yvonne surfaces from a knot of chatting people and notices you immediately. "Hey, the big heroes are awake at last!" The room pauses and stares at the four of you for moment before redoubling in sound, most of it is just general affirmative clamor that you manage to take with decent grace. You gets seats together at a table with Yvonne, food is found for you and you spend a great deal of your time answering questions about the fight. Apparently there is some serious chagrin going on over how the Independents locked out the Unchained in their fight against Hake. Once the crowd simmers down enough for you to eat something Yvonne fills you in on the important details of what happened after. "Morgan's alive, tough bastard. He'll lose a couple of fingers and toes and one of his ears to nerve damage, but the first damn thing he asked for when he woke up was Hake's head. He slept like a baby when we told him there wasn't enough left to fill a cup." She nods to Trol. "Fine work there, a lot of people around here took a shine to you for that little bit of sloppy business." She takes a drink from a beer that you aren't sure how she got, seeing your curiosity she grins. "And everybody is indebted to you guys for taking care of a few supply issues, the rations we have were meant for," her face twists briefly in displeasure "the prisoners in the facility. The guards however apparently had a stock of the good stuff, and since we've been actively reclaiming their end of the facility we now have their stock." On cue drinks arrive for you as Yvonne continues. "Your gear is back with the signifer, cleaned, shined, and patched where needed. The Matriarch will probably set you up with another pretty hefty stipend for your work after she's done grilling you, she shakes her slightly at a memory and adds a faint "iron bitch." to the end.

+1 reputation to the unchained for all, +1 additional for Trol
