Hey, all of the players are guys IRL. Having any of you get more than a little sweet on Dom is vaguely creepifying.

Uh... yeah, OK. Let's put it this way, it's a little awkward but if that's how it happens that's how it happens, although it isn't likely. Dom's probably more creeped out by Taric than anything. Guy doesn't even panic when falling three stories and uses porn mags as a weapon. o.O

"Heads up motherfucker!" Dom yelled, firing the carbine at the bio-walker to get its attention. Here's hoping I can evade its weapons...

Spoiler: Initiative (click to show/hide)

Hake Nohken

Ignoring the fleabites from his flanks Hake concentrates on the missile wielders, sending two massive slashes of Psionic energy into them. [Blade 5-2+2+1-1, 3-2+3+1-1] The massive kinetic lashes whip forwards, [Shield roll 3+3, 2+3] and the barrier keeping the Unchained safe flares into incandescence, burning like a small sun while the energy whips play over it.

---

Tarran Smith

Fire straight down the center of the Walker.

Hoping to hit the pilot you go for the Walker's center of mass. [Marksman 4+1+1] [Shield roll 2-2+2] Firing from an unexpected angle you strike a weak point in the shield and the armor piercing round strikes through.  [Confirm critical roll 5, Walker Armor roll 5+3-5] The rifle does its job and blows a hole through the Walker, [Hake luck roll 4] only clipping Hake on the way through. (Hake is barely hurt, Walker is Wounded)

Ichneumon is empty.

---

Trol Grane

PEWPEWPEWPEW (more shooting)

Tarran's rifle blasts like thunder and there is a brief burst of ichor from the wounded Walker before more ORS begins closing the wounds. You shoulder your shotgun, when this thing was fighting on one front it was on even footing, now you're hitting it from all angles, speaking of... [Quickshot 1] [Luck roll 3] The Irin suddenly makes a warning sound and several emergency heatsinks start venting, great.

Irin will be unusable until next round.

---

Taric Sizier

Get down and catch my breath. take my Broadbeam out and aim it at the thing.

You take aim at the Walker and try to calm your body, straining for that extra mile. [Stamina roll 3] It doesn't come to you, you're still keenly aware of exhaustion and your wounds.

---

Unchained (Linked)

The Unchained shudder as a group as the Walker pounds their shield, the return with the psychic uppercut. [Slam 4-2+2+2] [Shield 2+3] The psychic fist is working on a relatively small focus and sends a blinding flash through the shields before punching through. [Armor roll 3+3] The Walkers armor prevents it from crumpling, but there are fine cracks spreading from the unchained strike.

Walker armor has mild damage.

---

Dominique Wakeman

"Heads up motherfucker!" Dom yelled, firing the carbine at the bio-walker to get its attention. Here's hoping I can evade its weapons...

You time your moment for when the Walker staggers back from the Unchained attack, and then you let loose with the Fuath. [Quickshot Auto-success] You spray a coating of Acid over the mech, and the shield springs to foxfire life as the Caustic substance tries to burrow through. [Walker Will roll 2+2-2 difficulty] You apparently took the thing by surprise, and as with the earlier independents the shield explodes like soap bubble. [Luck roll 3] Some of the acid had already slide down the shield but a fair portion still makes it onto the Walker, sizzling on contact with the chitin.

---

Prototype Bio-Walker

Interior trauma, dispense secondary ORS sacs to pilot. Minor armor damage coupled with acid damage, secondary problems. Primary problem, shields disabled. Repairing shields...

Active Kinetics 3+2-2 The hair on the back of your neck stands up as the Walker prepares to re-power the shields.

Walker shields will be active at the End of Hake's next turn.

If there's a waiting list or something (I certainly hope so, this is awesome!):

Name: James Evan
Appearance: A young guy, twenty-two, with golden-brown hair, pale skin, and mostly brown eyes with a little gray at the core of the iris.
Gender: Male
Profession: Sympathetic Scanner
Skills: Detect Lie 2 (Needed to pass by on his job) Melee 3 (He studies fighting)
Character Bio: Raised anti-Technocrat, although he disguised it as he entered college. Because he disguised it, he was hired early on by the Technocrats, he absolutely, absolutely HATES his job, and considers the Technocracy corrupt.
He privately worships a branch of the couple-hundred year old Episcopalian branch of Protestant Christianity. Naturally, this makes him a Deviation 19.
Stats:
Str: 12. He had to be strong in his poor childhood, and he's only got more fit since then.
Dexterity: 0. Unfortunately, he's horribly, horribly clumsy.
Endurance: 3. He's pretty tough.
Charisma: 3. He's a nice guy and pretty charismatic.
Intelligence: 3. He is about averagely smart, just a little above.
Will: 4+1=5. He was fairly strong-willed before he got his hated job. His job made him even more so.

Unknown to most but the insane and the mystics, Tarran is actually Earth itself, as Earth is sentient like that planet in Avatar. Originally Earth used names such as Terra on the internet, but to protect it's identity it changed letters, now becoming the Tarran you know today.

Tarran has the "Tarran Bug", a bug which causes the affected character to repeatedly hit teammates while dual-wielding instead of whatever the hell he is shooting at.

Rest a bit then take a shot at the Bio-mech

Your rest attempt will be at -1 and you'll only be able to shoot on the same round if you stamina roll is 5 or better. Just so you know.

Yeah, there's a waiting list. Well er... there was. I'll make a new one on the closest post to the main one I can find. (I had to cannibalize the old one because there was nobody on it, my post hit the 40000 character limit, and I needed to add some more gear. Sorry.)

I may need to do a bit of mental gymnastics for how you start out, give me moment and I'll hand you some options to fill out your character sheet. (In the beginning these weren't necessary but things like location were all set then.)

"Come on!" Dom yelled, continuing to spray the bio-walker down with acid. It seemed to be effective enough and she didn't have any other plans.
