"Yeah, all right." Dom stood as well and moved in front of Tarran, keeping her shield up. "I'll cover you, it's not like you can move too fast with that wound. Besides, there might be more enemies ahead." She advanced forward, drawing the heavy pistol and keeping it aimed in front of her.

Wish Dom knew in advance that the grenade would be better suited to the situation, but oh well. Next round.

Stab the woman, grab her medkit when she dies

You really like that dinky little knife don't you?

Also, priorities.

I'll run this turn in a couple minutes.

What do you think I'm doing, and you'll get caught in the crossfire if your initiative roll is higher than mine.

Spoiler: Initiative Rolls (click to show/hide)

Trol Grane

Stab the woman, grab her medkit when she dies

Ignoring the mass of independents you charge the medic, knife ready. [Melee 3+1 Vs Dodge 5] She throws herself backwards to escape your slash, abandoning her soon to die patient.

---

Ivan

Quote
Repensum est canicula!"
[/b]

Shouting bad latin Ivan issues orders, apparently he's the highest ranked of the new group, and kneels before opening fire.  [Quickshot roll 3+1 range][Taric Armor roll 3+1 med] His burst hits Taric low in the side, tearing up the armor and a little of the flesh. (Taric -5HP)

---

Taric Sizier

Open fire on the independants

Seeing as Trol has occupied himself with the medic at melee range you focus your fire on the main group. [Quickshot roll 2, 3, 4] You hit a couple of them, [Armor roll 3, 5] but only looks like you did damage to one of them. (Independent 2 is barely hurt.) Your assault rifle is out of ammo too, brilliant.

---

Independent group]

Two of the large independent force kneel with Ivan to clear the path of fire for the other three and they all start shooting. [Quickshot 2, 4, 4, 4, 3] Taric and troll are pelted with bullets and slugs of varying sizes, this can't go on for long. [Taric Armor roll 2+1, 2+1] Taric's armor gets pummeled, and so does he. (Taric -10HP, -11HP) Trol's armor [Armor roll 6-1 condition., 3-1 condition] gets a beating too, although one burst is completely deflected. (Trol -10HP)

---

Dominique and Tarran

"Yeah, all right." Dom stood as well and moved in front of Tarran, keeping her shield up. "I'll cover you, it's not like you can move too fast with that wound. Besides, there might be more enemies ahead." She advanced forward, drawing the heavy pistol and keeping it aimed in front of her.
Limp towards Taric and Trol. "Come on Dom, we can't let them get themselves killed without us, heh."

The two of you make it through the doors and step through, it isn't pretty. Taric is bleeding from multiple injuries and Trollan appears to have brought his knife to the gunfight. Again.

o.O Crap, we're all gonna die if this doesn't work.

"Shit," Dom said, observing the scene before them. She immediately drew the Nova grenade, started the timer, and hurled it at the mass of enemies. "Here's hoping this works..." she muttered, reaching out with her mind to try and ensure the grenade landed dead center between the six independents.

Hopefully the die gods will be merciless to the enemy, preferably by giving dom several 6s

'Course, we'll all get a 1 since the RNG just plain hates everyone.

Well, it's been nice knowing you Taricus, Trollan. There's a decent chance that all three of us will be dead at the end of next turn and Serious will be the only one left. I almost feel bad for him having so much HP: He'll die far later than we will. :P

Well, considering we're all playing this RTD like mad dogs, we shouldn't be gone for long before our new characters come in and everything is running normally again.
