Phase 1/2Tarran Smith"Alright, time to crack some sculls and hopefully not have our own cracked. Don't fear death men, because you won't see it coming anyway, so you might as well make the best of life and not fear death! I do not have any orders for you, but one: Kill all those bastards! Do not retreat and leave your friends to die, for that is the sign of a coward! Do not worry over pain, for you shall inflict it onto your enemies five times over! Now, KILL THEM ALL!"
You finish your spectacular speech just as the shield drops, jumping off without even checking to see if the others were following. [Will roll 4] Despite jumping off of a building you keep your head pretty well, and even though the cold hits you like an electrical shock you manage to not breathe reflexively.
One... Two... Three... Four... Five... Six and Mark! [Dex roll 6+1] You pull your chute without even thinking, and press the button on your transmitter within the space of a heartbeat. A dot of light races past you and you see another in your peripheral vision shoot under Yvonne's team. The points of light explode beneath you, giving a clear distance to the roof of the structure which is surprisingly close. [Passive kinetics roll 4+1] Without thinking you make a lattice of psychic energy that will distribute the force of the impact throughout your entire body instead of just your legs. As such the impact of a thousand foot fall onto the roof barely slows you down.

Maybe it's because of the fact that you just woke up and you aren't sure you're not dreaming, maybe orientation is eroding your sanity, or maybe you've just got an affinity for life threatening and mind bending experiences. Whatever the cause you can't resist a cry of delight as the shield drops and you plummet towards the ground. [Will roll 5+1] Oh hell yes, you have totally got this. Even as your brain counts off the seconds you can't help but realize that this is the most wonderful thing you've ever felt, as close to flying as you'll ever get. [Dex roll 3] You aren't exactly agile with the chute mechanism, but you don't panic and you manage to get it open only a split second late. Tarran apparently already hit the call button and fire blossoms from beneath you as the missiles make an entrance for you. [Passive Kinetics roll 3+1] It doesn't click right away but just before impact you manage to put together a mental cushion of sorts, it doesn't make landing comfortable but it certainly eases a lot of the difficulty.

When the shield drops and you jump you shot the name of a famous figure of old earth history at the top of your lungs, taking strength from the sound of your own voice in the darkness. [End roll 3] Jesus-on-a-friggin-stick! You manage to keep your body straight but the cold hits you like knives and you involuntarily take a breath, the sheer chill makes you immediately wish you hadn't and you only just manage to keep from sucking any more. [Luck roll 3] Through it you manage to keep your count, at least mostly. You tick away the seconds, you already messed up once... Another mistake could cost you your life. That's it, [Dex roll 2+1] you very nearly fumble the catch but the quick fingers of a casino player manage to snag it and pull just in time for a streak of ruddy light to dart beneath you and explode on the roof of the structure below. [Soak 3+1] You know how to take a hit, and you manage to land with a jarring but not harmful impact.

The shield drops and as the others howl their war-cries you run to the edge silently, hurling yourself into the void without a word. [End roll 4+1] You've never been afraid of heights, and in the pitch black the only indicator that you're falling is the chill wind cutting against you. You count of the seconds mentally, intent not to end up as roof paint. As you hit six you reach for your chute, [Dex roll 3] there is a moment of panic as your hand gropes air before your fingers close around the deployment catch. As your chute deploys a glowing dart breezes past you and impacts the roof beneath you with a wave of fire and sound. [Passive Kinetics 3+1] You hit the roof on all fours, and kinetic energy echoes off of you and back into the structure.

[Rolls 3, 3, 4, 4] Yvonne's group makes it down mostly safely, performing admirably under the adverse conditions.
Charlie Squad[Rolls 3, 6+1, 1, 4+1] The other team has trouble when one of their men freezes up trying to pull his chute, one of the more experienced members though manages a heroic mid-air tackle that saves the rookie from splattering. They land at their breach without other incident.
Phase 2/2Dominique WakemanAs you hit the ground you shrug out of the parachute and sprint to the hole made by the missile, [Dex 5+1] sliding in and unlimbering your pistol in one motion. The hole seems to have blasted into a hallway, [Failed roll not shown] the lighting here was apparently knocked out by the blast and the steady red glow of the emergency lighting seems to be your only company for now. You can't imagine that the people here are going to not investigate these explosions though.

Trol Grane[Dex roll 3] You have to struggle with your parachute for a minute before running towards the gap, you jump down into the corridor to find Dominique already there, pistol ready. You know it isn't any different but the red lighting combined with the rubble from the roof makes it much more eerie than the other parts of this complex that you've seen.

Tarran is practically on your heels as you enter the complex, red emergency lighting playing hell with everyone's features.

[Dex roll 3+1] You unbuckle your parachute with alacrity, and catch up with taric just as he jumps down into the gap made by the missile team.

The corridor you're in has no visible identifying marks, if you've got your bearings right this corridor is parallel to the dome, so neither direction appears to immediately take you any closer to where you need to be. Ten seconds after Tarran slides in the hole in the roof is sealed by a crackling golden glow, it looks much more vibrant than the one that held you in the shuttle.
Contact with other squads lost, their rolls continue hidden. You may find them later, or they may be overwhelmed and killed. Right now it's just you.
