"So you're a smart guy, eh? Well, hopefully you'll be able to carry your weight. And if you do, then we'll get along just fine.

Right after I jab you in the stomach when you least expect it in revenge for those two lines you said a little bit back.

Other then that, though, I'm sure we'll get along just fine."

Find Nathaniel
Dude... It's not worth it, he's very likely dead, and your character should know it.

Yeah, the ship took a direct hit to the cockpit, Nathaniel didn't make it. You're breathing him.

Dom looked up at the sky. "Damn..." she said with a brief whistle through her teeth. She thought she knew before, but it was really hitting her that she wasn't home anymore. Taric and Tarran argued while she looked around, taking in her surroundings. "I wonder how far we are from anything?" she mused as she hopped down to the ground.

We got shot down... So we can't be that far from some sort of civilization. But on the other hand, said people destroyed the transport. It might not be a good idea to go looking for them. This is all over my head... guess I'll just see what everyone else thinks, she thought, running a hand through her hair. "Yo, guys. What we should do? Try to get to civilization or what?" Dominique poked among the wreckage for a moment, trying to figure out which way they had been heading before the crash from the skids.

"Can't say I like the idea, what with them already having shot us down once. But it probably ain't safe out here, either," she said.

"I say we avoid the people that shot us down unless we have no other choices. It'd just be stupid to go to them. Anyway, it's likely that not everyone has gone to their side, so we should look around for small villages and towns. Failing that, I guess our only option is to go to their base and attempt to kick the crap out of them."

All: You're standing in the mouth of the damaged shuttle, the alien sky pressing down on you. The surrounding area is somewhat obscured by the evaporating impact gel. From what you can see the area immediately around you is bare ground, whether it was like that before you crashed a shuttle into it you don't know.

Character: Tarran Smith

Climb to the top of the ship and examine the surroundings.

You clamber on top of the Damaged shuttle for a better view. [Dex roll 1] The jump through the gate and the crash have left you a little ungainly and you fall off the side of the shuttle, this is not your day. [Luck roll 5] Luckily you avoid bruises by landing in one of the dissipating puddles of impact gel and also avoid impaling yourself on one of the twisted pieces of shuttle. From your position on the ground you have a great view of the sky, you would say that you've got an hour or two left until twilight.

Spoiler: Tarran Smith (click to show/hide)

Character: Taric Sizier

"We should salvage what we can, we don't know what or who shot us down."

You introduce yourself to everyone, your profession might not be a lot of help in the ass end of nowhere but you need to get to know each other as best you can to survive. You and Tarran exchange pleasantries and he promises you a fist in the gut, you promise him porn. You think you've gotten the short end of the deal. Still you search around for anything to salvage. [Observation roll 4] One of the wings on the shuttle is still mostly intact, and mounted on the underside is a point defense cannon. It would certainly be better than nothing if you can dismount it and rig it to fire as a heavy weapon.

You'll need someone's help to remove the point defense cannon, if you enlist someones help I will process your turn separately.

Spoiler: Tarric Sizier (click to show/hide)

Character: Dominique Wakeman

Dom looked up at the sky. "Damn..." she said with a brief whistle through her teeth. She thought she knew before, but it was really hitting her that she wasn't home anymore. Taric and Tarran argued while she looked around, taking in her surroundings. "I wonder how far we are from anything?" she mused as she hopped down to the ground.

"Can't say I like the idea, what with them already having shot us down once. But it probably ain't safe out here, either," she said.

You hop down from the shuttle, looking at the wreckage to see if you can find out where you were going before the shit hit the fan. [Intuition roll 6] Its a lot like looking at someone's head after you hit it REALLY hard, with that comparison in mind you are able to find a general direction. The ship was traveling to the... uh.. the... Fuck. North and south don't have a damn bit of reference here. The ship got turned around as it fell, if the door out of the shuttle was north then the ship would have been heading south-south-east.

Spoiler: Domninique Wakeman (click to show/hide)

Character Trol Grane

Follow the others

You follow the group out of the shuttle and observe as Tarran falls off the side. You wonder how he ever became a freedom fighter. Still your group needs to be able to see where they are going if you're going to get anywhere, and you attempt the same climb to the top of the shuttle. [Dex roll 3] You almost fall off twice, and it's a bitch of a climb but you make it to the top and look around. (-8 Stamina) With the added height you get a new appreciation for how strange this is, you feel agoraphobic. Your crash sight is in the middle of what seems to be a perfectly circular depression. In the center of the depression is a large structure, with three spires sticking out of a bubble, you judge it be about a mile off. The structure is emitting massive plumes of smoke, you don't think that's normal. On the outside of the Depression outward sloping walls of pale green streaked with yellow rise up at least a hundred feet in the air, [Observation roll 4] they appear biological. You can't see whatever is over them. If the door of the ship was south then the city would be roughly NE of here.

"Don't look at me, physical work isn't exactly my strong point. However, considering Dominique just moved a metal door, I say you ask her for help."

Jog around the general area looking for anything of interest.

"All right, sure." Dom could easily see the advantage in having a ship's armament on hand. "Whatcha need?" she asked, coming over to see how she could help out.
