"Get the F out The second page"? You're telling the second page to get out? :P

Well GTFO is flexible, it could be Get The Fuck Out, Get The Fuck Off (which works in that sentence), Giant Trembling Ferric Oranges, Gentile Tranvestite Felon Outlet (A truly terrifying store to be sure.), etc, etc.

Anyway, Tarran Ran his turn so I suppose I could feel inspired enough to scribble something on paper, wrap it around a lead brick, and throw it at your collective noggins.

Starting to run the turn, it may take a while as there is a distinct possibility of a mandatory computer switch.

Blame it on wolfchild. He left me hanging on my conversation. I've been waiting for him to answer my line for the last couple of days. ::)

Without finishing the conversation, I can't really think of any reasonably sensible action without it reeking of some amounts of metagaming.

You could search again, now that you've heard the sound and have identified that is coming from the walls or floor of the room it won't require Insanely difficult general search roll.

I decided not to. I mean, it's not like my post is burred in multiple miles of posts.

Well fine. But it still kinda reeks of meta.

Search again.

That's even worse. You're breaking roleplaying entirely rather than merely skimming metagaming.

Stop making suggestions, make the turn made. Shoo, shoo, make that turn.

I'm being sarcastic YOU FOOOOOLLLL!

Anyway, I hardly think it's meta-gaming to have the second search. After all the captain is wrecking the room looking for his people, he finds nothing. Horrible scraping sound is heard coming from the walls/floor. Captain gives "you've got to be kidding" face and starts tearing up the walls and floor.

I've actually seen this movie before I think...

There were delays. They have been dealt with.
Severely.

Tarran Smith

Search again.

There isn't exactly an overabundance of options on the possible locations of Dom and Taric, they had to have gone through this room or through the one that Ash's team is searching. The mystery is of course how in all the worlds they got below the rooms.
[Observation 5+1] Nothing on the floor has been moved or is the least bit out of place as far as you can see, and considering the rather gory carpet you think it rather prudent to check the walls first. You walk around the small room, running your hands across the walls at different heights and relying as much on your physical senses as you do on your psychic vision. A good thing too, psychic tendrils aren't able to catch in hairline seams that lie between concealed doors and ordinary walls. Fingernails on other hand, can.
Maintenance Access Hatch. Considering the fact that you spent your last days on earth living beneath one it's almost surprising that you didn't think of it sooner. Dominique would of course known about the hatches being a maintenance worker herself. All that left was why she'd decided to leave you high and dry.

Of course there was that pesky detail of you agreeing to be chaperoned around the facility by an armed escort of faceless not-quite-people wearing armor that -according to Taric- latched onto your face and captured your brain via your eyeballs.

---

Ashley Fey and Jordan Grey

"I am almost at that point with you, but the moment we do that, they know we are not playing ball, and any advantage we could have gotten playing along vanishes, but it wont work without everyone else, so a couple of us could sneak off with less chance of being noticed." Ashly Fondly Regards Cremation (of immortals) and looks one last time for the two runaways

Jordan might not be exactly happy with things right now but you've known him long to know the difference between him whining and him actually suggesting something. This is, like 99% of his complaints, one of those times when he just needs to whine to make himself feel better. Of course being covered in that foul gunk is probably license enough for anyone to whine a little about their sorry lot in life, or whatever this thing you have is called.
After he's been suitably placated with needless logic the pair of you give the room the good once-over that Jordan interrupted with his maladroit antics. [Ash observation 3, 3 Intuition 5+1, 1 Luck 2 8/30. Poor result] The result however is nothing more than you expected, an exercise in futility. The room is, as far as you can see, clean.
[Jordan observation 4, 3 Intuition 4, 2+1 Luck 3 14/30. Average result] Jordan's search of the other side of the room yields no other revelation, Tarran's troops are not in fact hiding under the throw pillows.

Dominique Wakeman

"What?" Dom said, turning to Jake. "I told you I can do that shit. Calm your ass down and let's get hustling. I'll lead the way, I got all the big guns. Except for that one..." she said, smiling to herself. Say what you would about Taric, but he was handy in a workshop. That... whatever the hell it was he had made would be a nasty surprise for anyone trying to stop them. "Jake, you follow me, Taric, you take rear guard." That was the best formation, in her opinion; she had the heaviest armor and most guns so she could easily handle frontal assaults, and Taric had weapons and combat experience. He would be safe in the back but still able to watch her back and keep Jake safe. Frankly she didn't trust that guy with a gun - at least not yet - so it was best for him to stay sheltered in the middle.

Smirking somewhat at Jake's reaction you clamber through the damaged iris first. You seriously doubt that he's going to attempt to attack you ever again, with anything. Taking command in Tarran's absence you order Taric to take up the rearguard, with the tunnel dead-ending behind you there isn't much chance of being attacked from behind, putting him in the greatest position to use that bizarre hybrid of lead and laser that he's so bloody proud of.
Jake you order to keep between yourself and Taric. You he's probably fairly safe to turn your back on when unarmed and scared shitless by your abilities. He doesn't complain about being ordered around, scrambling slightly less gracefully behind you through the iris as you lead on.

You lead Taric and Jake down the maintenance shaft, gratefully noting that the secondary iris in this shaft remains retracted for the time being. A dozen more strides after the reserve iris you're able to clearly make out the ladder shaft down to the next level of maintenance corridors, scratch marks on the rim mark it as leading down to a tunnel hub with at least seven different branches from there.

The ladder would certainly take you down deeper, but there are also the other ceiling hatches in the shaft that lead up to the pair of locked rooms of unknown contents.

---

Taric Sizier

"Guess we're clear then. Lead on, considering you seem to know where you're going." Go into the hole (The one in the iris :P).

You follow Dominique, or rather you follow the sound of Jake following Dominique. The lack of the primary human sense would bother most people pretty severely, you though... It's an irritation. Sight isn't so much necessary in these straight and unobstructed tunnels, if they'd all been covered in the mess that Jake's section had it would be a different story, but as it is you need touch and hearing more than you need sight.
   [Failed roll not shown]

James Evan

Spoiler: initiative (click to show/hide)

James figured if she could make thing in his mind he could make things in his mind, attempting to imagine imself a suit og AEGIS body armour and a shotgun.

Your shadowy abomination is faster than she has any right to be, maybe it's the fact that it's her memory you're in, maybe it's part of the psychic thing, maybe it's something else entirely, but whatever it is she reverses her grip on the blade with blinding speed and drives it back into your chest like a very pointy hammer. [Blight melee 4+1 Vs James Dodge 3] [Blight brawl 3] You raise the chair defensively again, knocking her arm far enough sideways to prevent the knife from skewering you, but not far enough to keep its serrated edge from scoring across your ribs. (James -15 HP)

Fine, she wants to play with point pieces of metal, she can have them. As for you, well you certainly don't plan to resign yourself to such archaic methods of butchery as that. [Will 2-1 double action] [Will 4-1 double action] You imagine yourself wearing the AEGIS body armor from the Storm Captain holo-series, resplendent with flowing cape and gilded lightning crest on the breastplate. A part of your mind however kicks in to remind you that the armor worn by Captain Storm was a fabricated model and about as useful as snot for the purpose of deflecting knife blows. This unfortunately is translated completely into the ornate Tactical armor you now wear, it's as light as a feather and just about as protective.
The shotgun however goes over slightly better, a shorter model of semi-automatic slugger that you remember pretty clearly. You did after all greenlight a shipment of such weapons as organic foodstuffs back in your pivotal days as a scanner.

(Ephemeral AEGIS armor is now worn, Gargoyle CQC shotgun is now wielded)
