Suppose I could have phrased that one better, it saves them from dying that turn. So it can prolong mortally wounded or allow you to hang on if you think you're about to die. It is NOT a get out of dead free card, you're still bleeding everywhere, psychically degrading, being disintegrated, whatever, it just makes it take longer. The ability won't save you from Massive damage either, direct nukes, skin to beam contact with anti-matter weaponry, jumping into lava, etc will still kill you dead.

You emulate Dom and Tarran, scooping dirt and detritus over the sticky blue. You then take cover opposite Tarran in a defensive circle, you still don't know where the threat is coming from.

Dom raised the Fuath as James, Tarran, and Taric hit the dirt. Maybe it'll work in a more open area like this... she thought. She closed her eyes and attempted to reach out with her kinetics, to feel the movement around her like she attempted on the tower. If she felt where the threat was coming from she would let everyone else know.

You focus like you did in the tower, expanding the subtle field around you, reaching out over earth and tree and mushroom. [Kinetics 3+1] You feel... movement, like water swirling on top of the distant foilage and coming closer. No, not water, something more distinct, something more alive... [intuition 2] You can't get enough definition to tell what it is, all you can tell is that it's coming from everywhere at once, and it's getting closer.
