Suits don't cover eyes...
Mine does. I've got a helmet made of Tungsten covering all of my head with screens allowing me to see.

James Evan

"Geh. Well I guess that's obviously not going to work again." James surveyed the prison cell, carefully. "Maybe I can find something useful in here.... Probably not, but still..." James continued to flex his hands around his bonds whilst he thought.

You survey the holding cell, it's maybe 7' feet tall, 10' deep, and 10' across. The walls are plate metal, and like the rest of the facility probably reinforced with concrete and energy fields. The door is just a slightly recessed rectangle, no way to force it open from the inside. You test the bindings on your wrists, trying to see if you can loosen them up a little without breaking them. Before you can get very far though the door starts humming faintly.

Cal ducks his head down, sagging into himself a little. Whether to make himself a smaller target or out of real fear you don't know. The door presses inward and slides to one side. A pair of men in Technocrat black jumpsuits enter, both of them have sidearms. The first grins humorlessly and speaks. "Congratulations, the situation has changed and you aren't going to be prisoners any more." He levels his pistol at Cal's head.

"You're going to be dead." [Technocrat thug Marksman 4+2, 2+2 target helpless, confirm critical roll 2, Cal luck roll 3, confirm failed] The technocrat shoots Callahan twice in the head at point blank range. Some of the blood gets on you and Cal spills sideways to the floor. The pistol then swings over to your head. Your life is suddenly and unexpectedly saved by the gunman's radio chirping, he looks mildly irritated and answers the radio. "Yes, I'm taking care of it now. Yes, I'm aware. I'll be right there." He gives you a grin that consists of baring his teeth as he clips the radio back to his uniform and holsters his weapon. "I have an appointment to keep, finish up here for me will you Harold?" Not waiting for an answer he leaves. Harold looks a little sick but begins drawing his weapon.

Not good.

Tarran Smith

"Hey, guys, next time please freaking tell me you're going somewhere or I'll smash your face in. Anyway, let's get something to eat. Introduce yourselves to Teague and Saun while you're on the way, guys."

Lead the group to the 'mess. Have Trol, Taric, and Dom introduce themselves.

Saun bows her head, putting on a good show of being lightly chastised. "Of course, Sir." Having done nothing wrong Teague merely nods. With that you lead the party to the mess, letting them get acquainted with each other.

---

Taric Sizier

"Hey Jamie. Saun I've already got to know a little bit"

You shake hands with Teague, and Saun gives you another one of those strangely predatory smiles.

---

Dominique Wakeman

"Hmm, wait," Dom said, looking at Ellen and Taric. She sniffed Taric's clothes, then moved over to Saun to compare. "Yeah, that's what I thought. I KNEW he looked too sweaty in the lab earlier." She hadn't specifically seen him leave with Saun, but she knew he had left without fighting anybody. "Well, whatever. If it makes him make guns like that then you should've jumped his bones earlier, we could've used that sonuvabitch against the mech-thing." She gave Tarran an evil grin. "If she's for him, who's this guy for, boss?" she asked, pointing a thumb at Jamie. Perhaps a bit of a mean-spirited comment but they were the FNGs on the squad, and they could take a little ribbing.

"Eh, I'm just playing with ya," she said to Jamie, slugging him on the upper arm as they headed towards the cafeteria. "I'm Dominique Wakeman, these guys just call me Dom. Normally I'm not in this good of a mood, so don't get used to it."

Saun laughs and Teague coughs and shifts somewhat uncomfortably glancing sideways at Saun, he's the one to reply first though. "Miss Wakeman, a pleasure. When we last met I was somewhat under the weather, I apologize." Saun rolls her eyes at Teague before speaking. "Don't even bother with him, he's a prude and his legs are locked at the knee." Teague grunts again and goes slightly red in the face. Saun smiles slightly at his reaction before continuing. "So Dom, that a given nickname, or an earned one?"

---

Trol Grane

Override Taric's legs to show I'm pissed, but not to do any damage. after that, eat.

You follow everyone to the mess and override Taric's legs to show your disappointment with the rifle. [Override 5+1 Vs Taric Will 3+1] He trips fantastically, though you feel relieved that he isn't carrying his BFG with him at the moment. Tripping with that could have been messy.

Also: PSIONICS TIME FOR TROL Aka sucks to be him ;D.

[Taric Mindbend 4 Vs Trol Passive Empathetics 5] Taric tries to make him feel like a centerfold, or something else awkward in retaliation but Trol's mental barriers are just too strong. Taric ends up on the floor, and Trol ends up managing to look innocent.

The main group is now in the mess, and by default eating.

(Let the prankfest begin.)

Oh, and by the way, the only cybernetics we have cause brain rot in smart people's brains, so... cybernetics aren't an option.

Which ones are those?

Also you guys are free to attach and parcel out the two remaining weapon mods.

Edit: Cheers to 16 posts in between me starting this turn and posting it.

I don't consider it a backfire unless it's a one.

Go talk with the guys from engineering.

"Mmm, too bad," Dom said about Teague, more specifically Saun's comment about him. She then asked about her name and Dom laughed ruefully. "I'd like to say there's a better reason than people are lazy, but that's just how it is. What do you think about these guys, anyway?" By default Dominique and Ellen were eating a chair or two apart from the guys, because that's just how girls were and it gave them an opportunity to talk about stuff that Tarran, Teague, Trol, and Taric probably would've ignored anyway. "I mean Taric's brilliant and all that but he seems pretty detached most of the time." Frankly she was surprised that he paid attention to an actual woman rather than the porn mag. Unless he found some way to use her to kill people...?

No, that was a stupid idea.

Yes! 16! Next time we'll try for 20. I'm claiming that laser sight/Abassy combo nao. :3
