Middle-Earth Radio is an internet-radio broadcast has pretty good background music to hear while digging out your fractal bedroom design.  There is also a channel that reads aloud the Tolkien stories.  Good stuff to get in the mood for long dwarf fortress games:

I don't think it's a bot. If it is, it's a damn good one, because its post uses things we discuss and still has no apparent grammatical flaws.

We're botist. Well, it does mention fractal bedroom designs. It's either a very good bot or a new member who just happened to decide to use their first post to advertise something.

yea i know it was harsh to call him a bot especially after i read his posts, not bad site though i get errors through chrome.

Well, you could be forgiven for thinking it was a bot with that username.

True, the username and the fact that the poster is new here does give feeling of bot.

Listening the rock -stream, so don't know if this applies to others as well, but has anyone else noticed that some tracks are only partially played instead of full song? Or is it just me that gets such feeling? Not 100% sure about it yet though.

Otherwise, like stated earlier...

This sucks, I can't get any of their streams to work. Stream number 4, which is an all-round of talk and music gives me a .pls file, which I need actual music files on my computer to listen to. The rest my winamp detects as a "live radio", but it says "[HTTP/1.0.404 File Not Found] http://stream1.middle-earthradio.com.6500/live" and the same applies for stream 3.

But not stream 2, that one actually plays music. Weird shit, batman.

You could try VLC player for Stream 4, works for me. It's bit laggy, though it could be due my internet connection.

Now it switched. Stream 1 and 2 no longer works, but Stream 3 and 4 does.
