Ok then send 60 fighters to engage them if I leave them be they cna destroy my army before we even get there. ( Its just a precaution )

I've sent 2 Squadrons of Buffalo fighters to central Malaysia so they are within range to cover the troops (and central Malaysia). It's a place called Temuloh and it's where you and your HQ are headed to set up a base within command range of the front line. Also AA guns are being towed their so that will provide the airfield a bit of safety.

30 planes.

The airfield is being expanded, but sending any more fighters there as it is would make it a target for bombers to destroy the airfield.

Also some Vickers British tanks are being sent by railroad to Temuhloh to provide support for either the attack on Kota Bharu or the defence of the west flank. Temuhloh is a crossroads so makes a nice point for command and reserve forces.

Ok make sure to send the bi-planes along the borders searching for enemy landing craft and how much longer cna my bomber squad trying to hit hte jap transports last before having to return or getting destroyed ?

Some bombers are being lost, if the enemy air strength remains the same they can probably last a week before they will need a rest from naval attacks. However they could provide ground bombing attacks against enemy troops quite easily. Shall I order the heavy bombers to stop attacking ships and start bombing the troops in Kota Bharu?

Ya if we can push them back from there we will regain the upper hand seeing as they will not have a readily built airport on the island so have the bombers attacking the transport bomb Kota Bharu.  (( This  game has greatly increased my confidence in strategic thinking ))

Also I ordered the Torpedo bombers to make a port strike on Kota Bharu, to try and reduce the supplies the Japs have landed a little.

Good is there a way we can build some ships on Malaya if so build or acquire some subs I have an idea but I need submarines

A nice little story here:

14 Dec. at night one of our Cruisers 'Houstin' attacked the landing force of the Japs at the Philippines. It sunk one transport and heavily wounded 2 more only suffering 1 hit in return. They barely got a shot off before she snuck in, opened fire and slunk off into the night again

*Ships are built historically pretty much. But my battleship Prince of Wales is in the port being fixed up! There are plenty of subs about, they are scoring at least one hit on a Jap convoy each day.

Report on the Buffalos transported to the forward air field -

The Japs sent a bombing raid to Kuantan, the Buffalo's intercepted it and destroyed 3 without a loss to them. The airfield damage was also minimal.
Our attacks on Kota Bharu were failed. The Japs clearly have an airfield in Thailand. We cant afford to send escorts, I'm going to ground the heavy bombers at Singapore until they can be used safely and effectively. They will train in ground bombardment.

Jap air raid on Manila failed, it was repulsed by a large fighter group. Air fighting over Manila is getting intense now, we probably cant hold on for much longer there.

Can't, Range is too low. Transporting by sea would be suicide aswell, as the Philipines is surrounded by Jap ships

Arty are a week or two away from being in position, at a guess. One of the AT gun batterys are in position on the west flank already.

A handful of tanks, thats about it lol. Theyare currently being sent by rail to the forward HQ.
