@Dwarf - pick one of the following to replace:

LGEN Arthur C. Percival - Commander of the Malaya army. Stationed at Singapore.
If you take him, i'll ask you for what to do pertaining the defence of Malaya. I'll make a screenshot and label how much forces are where etc.

GEN Douglas MacArthur - Commander of the USAFFE (US Army Forces Far East)
For him you'd command the defence of the Philippines.

COL Samual L. Howard - Commanding the 4th Marine Regiment at Bataan(West of Manila, The Philippines).
Here youd command 1339 Marine combat infantry, 26 vehicles (no tanks), 36 artillery guns including 9 75mm howitzers and 1410 rear echelon personel.

At the beginning Japan lands a large force there to invade, it will be a hard fight. Your main job will be to hold singapore in the south. It's naval guns protect against Japanese forces heading for India and it had a large airfield and extensive port.

All of the options I gave will have a hard fight right from the beginning.

Wait a bit, I'll start it properly tomorrow :D

You have approximately:

At Singapore
18,000 infantry and support crews.
110 various vehicles.
235 Artillery guns (Most of which point outwards to the sea however.)
74 aircraft, mostly fighters.

North of Singapore
15,000 men spread throughout Malaya north from Singapore.

You spotted only about 5000 Japanese so far.

*I'll start tomorrow.
