Since I'm 5th do I get to make a quota for number 6 or do we poltiburos decide on that one?

I think 5th finishes up, and next decides a new one. In any case, is there a new quota?

You see, here's how I think this works:
Overseer: Welcome to the military! You need to wear socks! Dorf: Oh, I should get military socks. My socks are civilian socks. Dorf discards socks Dorf: You know, I need a whole lot of gear now. I should get socks... last. Oh, but these steel boots with the white goo on them are nice!

Yeah, it's on page 1. To repeat:

-Build us some defenses.
-20 cages
-30 mechanisms
-50 iron bars
-A squad of 5 dwarves
-A danger room for them
-100 bags.
-300 booze
-500 prepared meals (use easy meals, trade them. Buy stuff from the elves, humans and dwarves.)
-Get some real bedrooms, one for each dwarf/couple, made.
I don't actually give a damn whether you make all this stuff or buy some of it, because you'll never be able to buy all the stuff you need for a quota.

Over a year it shouldn't be that hard. I hope. You always get a good migration in the second spring and usually another one that fall or winter, you'll have lots of spare labor.

How much ore, fuel, and flux do we have, exactly?

Y'just need iron ore and fuel to make iron. We've got a vein of bituminous coal and a couple of hematite lying around. Not hard.

I know... I was just wondering how much we already have/know of. Like if we have a huge area with only magnetite.

Not that I've mined out. I'm not sure we have flux, by the way. If we don't have marble, then we don't.

Yeah, that's fine.

Well, it looks like there's no Antisthenes. We'll move him down to spot 7.
