When did I say that? I think you have your names mixed up. I sure can't make golems. Also, turn in.
That's what he's asking you. You have gold, and he can make golems.

Oh, doh, I got confused on who was offering what. The Granite Golems look tempting, but if they get killed I can't make any more to get the unit to be able to do anything, and I'll just be left with its handlers.. A Caravel looks more tempting because I don't have much navy, but I do like my gold. I'll trade all three if you add a Windcaller sails and a Naval Ballista, though I can pay you the sky diamond needed for the sails. Is that acceptable?

Nevermind, I realized that the trade isn't worth more than 3 labor and $12 to me, which means I'd be losing even with only a caravel hull.

Hmm. I think three is enough, but if Ibid Straydrink keeps not sending me anything, you can take his place.
(Guess I should change the thread title.)

Oh well, still interested in one if you see anything else of mine you might want, so yah.

If I'd known my turn would be this uncreative, I'd probably have finished it sooner. :-\

My navy's going to allow IronyOwl's ship to try to capture baby creatures. Or whatever sized creatures they're trying to capture.

Vanigo: Do military unit Zones of Control only work if they're stationed in a settlement, or could I, say, establish picket lines of troops to further slow down enemy forces?
Do naval unit ZoCs work like land unit ZoCs?
How do flying units factor in, for both sides?

You can plant a unit anywhere you want.
Naval zones of control work like land zones of control, just bigger. Zaval ZoC doesn't affect land units, and vice versa. Amphibious units project both naval and land ZoC.
Units with normal flight are normal land units for ZoC purposes. Units with overland flight project both naval and land ZoC, and ignore enemy ZoC unless the projecting unit has flight, overland flight, or a ranged attack.

Uh, some of your stockpiled furs. I've been giving you the prosperity bonus for... a whole bunch of turns, now. Your population would be somewhat lower if I hadn't.

Ahra, since you are stockpiling furs, how about a trade of 1 spice for 1 fur per turn?
Ahra: How about a trade of either 1 heavy armor, or 2 light armor for: 3 metal ore, the same amount of leather ore you use and 10 gold?

I don't have any problem with you not accepting ahra, but a response would be nice.
armor thing im not interested in really
but the furs are ok.

That was a while ago, but more recently I asked to confirm if the trade would continue into this age, but you didn't respond.

On that note, since I have found another source of furs (a new fishing village), the trade is now off.

EDIT: scratch that, the cost (tin) will require me replacing a 3 food farm for a mine, so the trade will continue as long as its OK with you.

Vanigo: Yeah I meant the lances to be polarms, could you just deduct two wood from my total for that?
