Edit: Not giving you free techs for the age was totally intentional. I was testing to see if anyone was paying attention. You all failed. Totally not lying.
Hehe, I actually totally forgot about that. Second tech of the queue acquired!

On that note, how does the bonus from a bank work? Does it include Guild/precious metal income? Does it work off your base or post-Marketplace number? What about my racial penalty?

Can fireball warhammers be enchanted? Could you have Volcanic Fireball Warhammers, for instance?

Nirur, did you want your ships this turn? Assuming their HP totals are correct, did you want them to rest before doing whatever? I still want my lone galley to come along and try to capture sea beasts, but I might want it this turn for colonization purposes.

I'm considering something for my wonder that may require springwater pearls, though probably not a whole lot. What would you want for some?

What's your current plan on life flowers?

lemon10, when were you planning on researching Alchemical Metallurgy? When you do get it, what would you want for a fairly simple combination for my wonder?

Ahra, what would you want for some wood and leather? You clearly have more of it than you know what to do with, and I'll be needing a fair amount (especially of wood) at some point in the future.

I need to reconsider the exploration contract fees, as the map is now shared and I will soon no longer have a monopoly on oceangoing vessels.
For now, I'd prefer for your people to repair the damaged ship. The other one may be rented out for 2 money to explore somewhere away from known belligerents, or remain docked to ensure we can use it next turn. I don't want to risk such an expensive ship while it's at half strength, even if they is slightly obsolete.
I'll be sticking a catapult on my cog this turn, to further increase our odds of success next turn.

I want four each of Ember Rubies and Storm Gems from you for my own wonder. I think a 2:1 trade ratio for the pearls (In your favor) is fair.

Quote
What's your current plan on life flowers?
I think I'll trade five plus <something> for ten healing potions. After that, I think I'll look around for the best deal, since everyone has alchemy and only we have the means to get life flowers. I want one potion per life flower, plus some fee due to (probable) demand.

Vanigo: I need a different free technology due to the Mechanics prerequisite.

Base tax income, just like the marketplace.

No, for the most part. +Attack and +magic attack are different; volcanic provides the former, and doesn't do any good on a unit with a magic melee attack. I guess a weapon enchantment that doesn't raise attack would work, though.

Vanigo: I need a different free technology due to the Mechanics prerequisite.
Ah, fixed. I also had to swap wind magic for mechanics in Ser'kash's available techs.

Vanigo: What do the nomads want to trade horseback riding to me?

... id kill my "army" for iron.
What do you want per iron/iron ore?
Also, I presume that we are still trading 1 spice for 1 fur.
lemon10, when were you planning on researching Alchemical Metallurgy? When you do get it, what would you want for a fairly simple combination for my wonder?
It will take a while, off the top of my head I can think of 5 or so techs that take precedent or are prerequisites to it, since besides trade (and possible alloys using the green iron), I can't think of any real use for it.
For the alloy: I'm not quite sure what my cost would be, probably fairly minimal assuming it just requires 1 labor.
Ahra, what would you want for some wood and leather? You clearly have more of it than you know what to do with, and I'll be needing a fair amount (especially of wood) at some point in the future.
I have a surplus (since I can fairly easily substitute wood buildings for stone, which I can get a infinite amount of from the dwarfs) of 6 wood per turn and as much stone as demand calls for per turn.
Cost is 2 money or 2 food or 1/3 labor each, or really anything of similar or greater value.

EDIT:Vanigo, I had a bookkeeping error last turn (didn't record the fact that I saved two stone), so I will just fix that and start with 2 stone this turn.
EDITEDIT:Shouldn't I also get a refund for my colony since it didn't actually end up being founded?

You mean the guys Nirur Torir got it from? Well, you might notice that they moved south and settled down recently. They've still got the horses, though. They'll trade you the tech for two bronze ingots.
Okay, stone.
No, no refund on the money spent.

Ahra, you've got some problems. First of all, you can't upgrade an infantry unit into a sea unit. Vehicles and mounts generally can't be changed around after the unit is made. Secondly, you can't build a windmill, you don't have mechanics. Thirdly, I don't know what's going on with your food prosperity. Fourth, you still have "free jewelery - 1 silver non exsistant" (which you don't need, because you rebuilt your silver mine a while ago), so I'm not sure what the 2 luxuries you say you're using are. Is it the spices lemon10 says he's trading to you, but which you make no mention of?

Just so everyone knows, and I think I mentioned this sometime earlier too, I go in for some surgery on the 28th, and will be afk for a bit probably. No Wi Fi in the hospital, and I probably wouldn't be well enough to do my turns anyway. Hopefully I'll be back soon.

Also, Homesteading needs Taxation and I don't have that.

What about something that only applies to melee attacks, like my gauntlets?

... id kill my "army" for iron.
How about 4 iron ingots for 16 leather and 16 wood? Exorbitant, but still pretty much free iron from your side.

Also, hypothetically speaking, suppose I decide that I want as many ember rubies as I can possibly get. What would it take for you to found a colony on the ember ruby site directly north of you, research your Find the Inner Sanctum doubler, and begin trading me three ember rubies a turn?

I need to reconsider the exploration contract fees, as the map is now shared and I will soon no longer have a monopoly on oceangoing vessels.

Repairing them both at my city this turn sounds fine.

I doubt I'll need 16 of them, but I couldn't even swear to that, and the ratios sound fair.

Ditto with life flowers/potions, though I'm not certain when I'll be getting alchemy.

Okay, how about this. Are any of those techs I already have or am likely to get very soon? If so, you could trade me for it, and then you could research alchemical metallurgy in its place.

Oh, good catch. I'll swap naval engineering for taxation for you, and give Ser'kash storm magic instead of homesteading.

I was just about to put it in as my research, double checked to see if I could, and said hey, wait a moment! If that happens again I'll tell you again, don't worry! And drat, I'll just have to get more navish next age once I conquer my may to the coast.

2 things
1. misunderstood wall o techs, fixing
2. i already had crop rotation so why is it one of my free techs?

also, irony... maybe 3 rounds to setup ember rubies?
also when do you want the leather and wood?

Code: [Select]
food produced:70, used:78,  stored- 0 taken from storage: 8i produce 70f and i take 8 from storage= 78 78/3 = 26

Ahra:

I suppose I could do the leather+wood trade this turn, since I'll probably be founding a colony as well. I'm not in immediate need of iron or labor, so I'm fine with giving you the ingots whenever.

Awesome on the gems, but remember I'm not positive I need them yet (though I'm really leaning towards it and can't think of anything better). Screw that, this is going to be awesome.

Do bear in mind that I won't need all the rubies I can get for very long, so don't build the colony there if it's not going to be useful to you once I stop buying them. Also, I'm going to need a ton of iron for my own purposes, so I won't necessarily be able to trade you iron for the gems, or at least not many of them.
