Errr... Sorry for the massive delay.
First off, some exposition on what was happening during the age, as a partial replacement to all the fluff I never did.
I know whats going to happen for my age end report and have it about half written up, and will ACTUALLY post it tomorrow.

Vanigo, I hope its not too late, I noticed a error in my turn, I (somehow) didn't say that my settlers were going to settle the area with the shadow emeralds, but I recorded the money loss. Obviously you didn't have them settle it, since I didn't even say that they were, could you have it fixed anyways please?

So, looking at it, the possible effects for my age-end event are pretty big.
First off its necessary to take away my second sun food bonus (or what amounts to 5 food per turn at this point).
Secondly, a passive moral reduction (-1 or -2) would, while not strictly necessary, probably be the correct thing to do, since the site was originally settled for the second sun, while the effect is now entirely reversed.

A neutral effect would be changing one of the deserts (preferably not the one that I have the sun amber in), into a tundra/other type of snow tile (with the same exact effects as the desert, but just being a different color).

The bonuses (if any, depending on if you are giving penalties this age or bonuses) are a bit harder to think of, a +1 or +2 to magical attack and/or defense for the capital proper wouldn't be amiss, since those would be some of the effects of the second sun (or whatever it should be called now that its inverse, the black hole?), but would be completely irrelevant, since my capital has never been attacked by a serious force, and even a serious force would probably go trash my colonies first.
A extra magic gem somewhere in Ljus Faller would possibly make sense, something darkness or ice based wouldn't be too amiss given the effects of a giant source of magic going out and a equal massive alternate force being deployed in addition to all the weather changes.

So, what's going on with the second sun? It kind of matters whether this is a natural state (like if it needs to recharge every 10,000 years or something) or if it's some kind of external influence.

Oh, right, this. They were met by a dwarven unit asking some very pointed questions about who told them they could set up right next door to their city. They left. You can send them somewhere else next turn.

Okay, that's everyone. I'd still like to see more from Ahra, but whatever.
I would, however, like to get some input on what you'd like to get in the next age. Things that make sense for your civ, that is, not things that you think would be useful. And, as I mentioned before, I'm considering giving everyone a unique building this age, so if you've got any ideas, let me know.

Primary focus is on mastery of themselves, mainly meaning body enhancement and healing, but also possibly mind enhancement and diminishing effects.

At some point they'd like flight-capable power armor, but I don't know when that'd be feasible/appropriate.

Increased interest in energy and elemental magics, probably leaning more towards indirect or utility effects. Particular interest in Storm-related magic, due to the island.

Monuments. They like big, impressive things, moreso when they're functional. I know this is kind of hard to work in without affecting everyone, or everyone who researches a certain tech, but anything they can point at and go "See, we're awesome" might be fitting.

Elemental servants. I don't know if this one would really fit, but noncombat ones would be especially welcome.



As for a unique building, not sure. Did you have any particular type or effect in mind?

Yes, and no, and yes, in that order. The game was initially six players, and it's now down to five, so there's been an opening for a while. But now the world's gotten pretty well explored and it'd be kind of tricky to squeeze a new faction onto the map, so that's out. However, I'm accepting antagonist faction applications, so if you'd like something like that, PM me what kind of threat you'd like to control.

Speaking of which, Strife, you never got back to me about your faction. You still interested?
