Oh, sweet shadowed emeralds sound pretty nice (although i sorta doubt they do anything yet).

Vanigo, on my resources: you are correct, i didn't fix them properly after i chose to build a unit this turn instead of waiting till next turn to build two at a time.
However, you got my money 1 too low (since you didn't apply the economic boom to prosperity for taxes).
Can i use mottled Pegasuses if i get them (or would I need horse riding/some other tech)?
If i got a unit of them I could breed them to create more right?
Could i change the name of finders to Far Rangers? I was planning on having finders as a placeholder till i could think up a better name, and you posting the turn this much faster then last time threw me off.
I was originally thinking about 1.5 labor as my lowest acceptable price. Then I remembered that the colony cost me 3 labor/turn, the only real export from it at the moment is Life Flowers.
Nirur, you are wrong, you get 12 food and 1 life flower per turn for a cost of 2 money and 3 labor per turn (the 12 food is 9 food less consumed per turn plus the 3 food it currently generates per turn).

Nirur, would you sell me a navigator for 10 gold?
Happery, what do you want for 1 silver/turn (especially since you will be throwing it away otherwise)?
Irony, what would you give for a mottled pegasai?
Irony, how does a trade of 1 spice per turn for 1 lobster per turn sound to you?
EDIT:
Irony/Ahra, how much would you trade a set of light armor for, how much for heavy armor (assuming i gave you a equal amount of iron ore as you used iron to make it)?
EDITEDIT:
Vanigo, you didn't have my cartographers cartograph anything.

Oh, you're right, I did forget. :rolls some dice: Didn't find anything.

As for the orcs... They're building up their military, apparently in preparation for an attack on their enemies. They don't want to hire any units, if that's what you were asking, and while they're not opposed to hiring some of theirs out to you, they don't want to do it if you're not actually fighting a war - guard duty's boring enough when they're guarding their own stuff. They have taken an interest in acquiring copper, but you don't have any.

Actually I do have some copper, I'm simply not mining any now, and I have a stockpile of 6.

Irony, what would you give for a mottled pegasai?
I assume you mean want for one. Largely depends on who I'm trading it to and under what terms- if it's just one and will remain just one, probably a fair amount. If it's meant for a beast pen to be bred, not for sale.

Irony, how does a trade of 1 spice per turn for 1 lobster per turn sound to you?
Pretty bad, since I get no benefit (after the first four turns, at least) and you get a second luxury from it.

Irony/Ahra, how much would you trade a set of light armor for, how much for heavy armor (assuming i gave you a equal amount of iron ore as you used iron to make it)?
I'll have to think about it. It's a pretty substantial upgrade, so probably more than the raw labor cost would imply, unless it was for something similarly valuable and hard to get, like amulets of the burning sun. Not certain if I want those yet, though.

Sorry, money is not enough for my specialization bonus. Besides that, my financial crisis is over. Your ten financial units would only cover the cost of buying a labor.
Forgot to factor in the extra food.

Alright, then. IronyOwl: I'll trade a Life Flower for 1.5 labor's worth of smelted iron. I'd rather get that then the Fire Ruby, as I'll need iron this turn to make arrows next turn.
Nirur: Are you building another caravel this turn, and is the current caravel going to train or head out immediately?
If you give me another ten financial units this turn, I'll get started on a second Exploration Caravel immediately. It'd be ready in two turns.
The New Dawn is ready to explore now, as it will have standing orders to avoid combat. Should be trivial for such a fast ship. (It's potentially available for combat in the future. Further negotiations for such should wait until needed.)

Also good, I'll send the money this turn.

Why stockpile so much silver that it's wasted? You can choose to mine 3 financial units instead.
I have plenty of gems, and could use some silver. What gems do you need? I'm thinking one gem for two silver. I'd like to take up to six silver.

IronyOwl, I don't trust unguarded shipping by water. May we trade through your road? Perhaps two wood as a toll?

Is anyone interested in buying a mint condition catapult?

Oh, I was talking to IronyOwl about the copper. Missed your post; it was hiding on the next page that I didn't notice was there. You found spices south of the human village, and tin NNW of the city. Money - no. Going from 34 to 35 prosperity doesn't increase your tax income. Mottled pegasi - not with a unit of them. Irony could, if he wanted, fill another player's beast pens with pegasi, but you can't use a unit of them to fill a beast pen. You can, however, use them without beast taming. And sure, I'll change the name.

Turn's almost ready, just working out a few details. On that note, anyone want to buy a small amount of food?

IronyOwl, I don't trust unguarded shipping by water. May we trade through your road? Perhaps two wood as a toll?
How about three wood?

And I'm afraid I have no current use for a catapult, and no particular plans to gain a use for one.

lemon10: What would you want for some sun amber, and are you still interested in advanced armor?

For advanced armor (either 1 heavy, or 2 light), I would trade you: 1 metal ore, 10 gold, the same amount of leather you use, and a sun amber.

I don't think that there is really anything else that I want that you have that I can't easily get somewhere else

I have to disagree, for four turns you get the benefit of a second luxury, and it will be the same for me, since I doubt you would continue trading after you run out of your surplus of lobsters (although i suppose if ahra is willing to trade then i will trade with him for his furs instead since it seems you don't really want to).

Money - no. Going from 34 to 35 prosperity doesn't increase your tax income.
Unless I am incorrect somewhere, I get tax income equivalent to 75% of my prosperity.
34*.75=25.5
35*.75=26.25

Ahra, since you are stockpiling furs, how about a trade of 1 spice for 1 fur per turn?
Ahra: How about a trade of either 1 heavy armor, or 2 light armor for: 3 metal ore, the same amount of leather ore you use and 10 gold?

I'd be fine with it, but Happery apparently isn't interested in trading this turn, and I'm having second thoughts about having a use for that much raw silver.

Seems a bit steep, considering that you're stockpiling them, and that I have no particular need/use for them.

That's true, but I've actually got more prosperity than I need at the moment. In a few turns I'll see about trading.

Unless I am incorrect somewhere, I get tax income equivalent to 75% of my prosperity.
34*.75=25.5
35*.75=26.25
I think the issue is that it's ([Prosperity/2] * Mods), not ([Prosperity * Mods] / 2) or something.

I'd be fine with it, but Happery apparently isn't interested in trading this turn, and I'm having second thoughts about having a use for that much raw silver.
On that note, I'm considering 2 sky diamonds for 3 springwater pearls this turn. Thoughts?

I'm rounding in cruel and unusual ways.
34*0.5 = 17; 17*1.5 = 25.5
35*0.5 = 17.5; 17*1.5 = 25.5
I'm not really sure why I started doing it this way, but I've been consistently using this method from the get-go.

Sorry for being slow to respond, these have been a few bad days. I forgot that you could switch out silver mines for getting money, and I'm still making more then I loose anyway, and I don't have any gems, so some gems is a better deal for me them more money. And I'm most interested in earth jade or ember rubies, with springwater pearls being my third choice.

And I'll trade you up to the 6 silver you first mentioned. I could also turn the silver into spirit lanterns first, though I'd want more gems for that.
