Hm... Looks like it will be a fun battle (sounds like i will have to increase their garrison quite a bit, well, not complaining if i put 4/5 units there i will get 8/10 extra gold per turn).
Perfect. I've changed my mind, and would really rather not fight your army. The dark elves'll be weakened for when I decide to bribe you to leave them and attack.

Oh, and if you continue scouting my colonies, I really won't have a choice but to scout to yours next age.
Assuming your talking to me, I'm not scouting your colonies, I'm exploring south of the human village (eg. away from you), on my south coast (eg. away from you), and east of the halfling village, (technically in your direction, but very far away, and i have much closer area's if i want to scout to you).

EDIT:
Nirur, I revised how paying me off to not help the dark elves works.
Triple what the dark elves pay, -10 gold per magic gem, -2 gold per food, -5 gold per luxury good, -6 gold per iron/copper+tin, -8 gold per iron ingot/bronze ingot. (This way works better for me with large quantity of troops).
So, paying me off when I have 6 troops stationed would cost 36 gold, costing more then it's worth to actually loot their city.

Nirur, I revised how paying me off to not help the dark elves works.
Triple what the dark elves pay, -10 gold per magic gem, -2 gold per food, -5 gold per luxury good, -6 gold per iron/copper+tin, -8 gold per iron ingot/bronze ingot. (This way works better for me with large quantity of troops).
So, paying me off when I have 6 troops stationed would cost 36 gold, costing more then it's worth to actually loot their city.
Understood.

I don't actually care that much about looting them. I want them gone as an independent power. They attacked a Xeniician core colony, forfeiting the independence and many lives of their descendants.

Of course, the Nedici might not completely agree with me. Profit-mongering cowards.

I thought I made a improved farm on tile 3 this turn, but its not on the map?

Edit : Nor is the leather armor I made in my inventory.

Sorry about that, I was confused and thought you were scouting east of the village near me. I then realized that you were out of supply range, and weren't likely to even want to send scouts out that far.

I don't think that is going to be possible, unless you get much stronger. While technically possible to wipe them out, especially if I let you, that depends on me letting you, or you having to fight some major wars over it.
On a related note, each consecutive turn that you pay me off not to defend the dark elves will cost more.

EDIT: Although i don't think it would be that hard to restrain the dark elves if i say that I won't help them defend anymore if they attack you.

If it's not a surprise attack, they can generally get to the battle no problem. Of course, if that battle is a feint, you might be in trouble...
