I don't think I already had a wall on 6 before now.
Gah, looked at tile 1 and thought 6. And then I did put it on tile 6. Whatever.

Also, light weapons are a lie. Noted.
Only for archers. Casters can get some mileage out of them against the right target, they're useful for a catapult's ground crew, and they're great on a ship with a ramming prow. Plus, summoners and the like, which haven't shown up yet, won't be able to use an actual primary weapon at all - their primary weapon is the stone golems or whatever.

Personally, i think that Sun charms should add magic damage.
Especially since my mages will be using Firebolt wands, and Sun charms are fire themed as well, so it makes sense that they would stack together.

That's it. We've finally crossed over and become the nation of Da Orky Boyz.

I'd just like to say this is exactly the sort of thing my spellcasters will be specializing in. I've never pictured them at being very good at the direct kind of blasty magics you see in games and movies so often. Ideally they should be sitting in the back lines invoking battlefield wide ritual effects, and back in the cities invoking blessings on my armies before they even go out to fight. The key thing to remember is that none of the shamans actually have any magic themselves. All their spells are actually being cast by spirits they've bribed and supplicated into helping them. They can do some blasty stuff by telling the local fire spirits to set people on fire, but what they should be focusing on is the group rituals that let them invoke the bigger spirits, whether from calling upon the spirit of fear to visit the enemy army or by getting the storm spirit to bless the war riders when a new unit gets mustered.

Granted, in an age or two the goblins should be developing some monotalents from spiritual influence and the mutations they've been picking up, but that's not really spellcasting, is it?

And yet you still have managed to be enslaved, fight a war to get out of being enslaved, and go an exodus to a new city during the last two ages. That's not even getting into the other stuff you haven't fixed. Why do I get the feeling you are still utterly missing the point of the previous complaints?

No, you made them for Middle Earth (The old dawn of worlds game we played) before this thread even started.

Well, if that's how you feel, I guess I'll throw open recruitment. Feel free to post a new race if you suddenly get inspired.

Except that +1 magic attack is way more valuable than +1 attack. That said, I did say you're welcome to invent new magical goodies, so once you get Energy Magic, I suppose you can try and make amulets of the burning sun or whatever - just don't expect them to be cheap.

All your talk about the value of magic attack being much higher then normal attack almost makes me want to wait a turn to train my troops, and research Sprit-Touched specialists for next turn.

Almost.
