That would have been a good idea, but actually I just didn't notice he was looking at possible starvation. It's never actually come up; everyone's been using extra food to raise prosperity until now.

I got access to research Mind Magic this age, but I don't have Life magic, which is a prerequisite to research Mind magic
So you don't. And I seem to have given you Elementalism in both age 2 and age 3. Convenient.

Ahra, you've forgotten your brand new pasture on hills tile 7, and I don't know what battle you're talking about in your prosperity calculations. And you do know only one of those quarries is getting finished, right? Also, why the hell did you build that pasture on tile 2 if you're not going to use it? Let me explain something. Given the choice between upgrading a tile you work every single turn and a tile you have never used and never intend to use, you should always go for the former. I know it's an advanced concept, but let me walk you through it. When you upgrade a tile that you work all the time, you get a lot of benefit. When you upgrade a tile you never work, you get no benefit at all. Do you see how this works?

That brings your food total to 55, not 51.
You got that bonus last turn. It's why your population is 21 now; it otherwise would have been stagnant. This turn, you're back to normal.
Also, when I see "-1 temple" I think, "Why is the temple reducing his prosperity?"

Please explain to me why you are so dead-set on not building those hunter's camps. It's a complete no-brainer! Very little cost! Very high benefit! I can't wrap my head around why you didn't do it ages ago, and now you're going around and upgrading tiles that you aren't constantly working anyway? What is your strategy here? Have you ever even heard of strategy?

Yeah, I figured as much once I though about it for a second. But when I see -1 I think "negative one". "1-clothing" works fine. The '-' is a dash, connecting the '1' to the 'clothing': the clothing increases prosperity by 1. "-1 temple" does not work at all. The '-' can't be a dash, because it's in the wrong place. It must be a minus sign, says my brain. So it reads "negative one temple". Taken at face value, this means the temple reduces prosperity by one. Of course, then I stop and think about it, and say to myself, "Wait, that can't be right. The temple should be increasing prosperity. I guess he just screwed up his syntax or something." So it's not like I'm going to say, "Plus, plus, plus, minus, minus, minus, minus; you've got 15 prosperity", it's just annoying.

You should know, that the - symbol before a number means that it is negative, or a subtraction. Much better would be +1 temple, so as not to confuse anyone
-1-1-1-1=-4, 1+1+1+1=4, assuming that you don't want negative prosperity, you should use + between your numbers.

Nirur Torir, you screwed up your money. First of all, magic armor is 4 gold each, not 3. Secondly, your math is just wrong. You'll have 5 money left after all's said and done.

I was thinking 4, but typed 3 and must have just gone with it. Not sure how I messed my math up, aside from making the non-flavor part of my turn shortly after waking up.

Edit: Also, I'm going to level with you guys about something. There's usually not much point putting effort into a unit's melee attack unless you can get it higher than its ranged attack.

Tile 4, the silver mine? The end goal is to have an inner ring of palisades, and then an outer ring of stone walls.
