No hurry. Just unusual to see so little activity.

Yah, not the best, but I've been poking at this for two days now, so....

Happerry, has anything really changed? That almost seems more like a turn's RP than an age-end report. I mean, these clans are a new development, but I'm not really sure what they mean. How do they interact with the old caste system? And is anything happening with the continuing diversification of the species?

Well, to strip it of the fluff...

The repeated military setbacks have given them a tinge of racial paranoia, along with the belief that if the world well not peacefully offer up its bounty, they need to take it. You also have the undercurrent that strength is in numbers, and they are one single city, so they need to spread and diversify. By force, if needed. I don't think they have a single peaceful random event that involved other people, so they are deeply suspicious of the world right now, and are starting to lean towards xenophobia.

And yah, diversification is happening, and next age the different clans are going to start physically diverging from each other. The other reason the clans are in is because it gives me more groups to use in the fluff.

Looks good to me, although I'm not sure what kind of leader to replace Quara with.

By the way, what kind of magic do people see their civilizations developing? I'm working on the next age's technology, and I think I should start steering it to accommodate you.

Probably mind control and enfeebling. Summoning would also be of interest, but I'm not sure they'd realize that was possible/practical.

They'd also retain interest in healing and elemental magic, but I don't know if it'd be enough to advance it much.

The kitchenette mold free, you move on to the pantry. it's nasty in there. The bacon is grazing on the lettuce. The ham is having an illicit affair with the prime rib, The potatoes see all, know all. A rat in boxer shorts smoking a foul smelling cigar is banging on a cabinet shouting about rent money.

Hmm, I should have known you'd refresh leaders, particularly those who get assassinated, especially since you hinted at it.
Infrastructure-lovers have the majority of votes, so I could easily have a governor or engineer come from one of them. I could also easily work on having the Nedici get a explorer or merchant leader.

By the way, what kind of magic do people see their civilizations developing? I'm working on the next age's technology, and I think I should start steering it to accommodate you.
DeathGnomes Mostly spirit-based divine magic, I think. I could easily see the Nedici investing in weather magic research for their navies in the sorta-near future. I'd like for long-term magic to support technology, such as steampunk-ish golems that are controlled by spirits(safe!), or ... I don't know. Magically extra-accurate guns? Tanks that require less maintenance?
I'll probably hire battle-mage auxiliaries from other people if I feel that I need such people for land battles.

Probably spiritism. Summon spirits or calling upon their power to invoke magic. Spellcasters likely don't cast any spells themselves, but summon minor spirits which do the work for them. IE, instead of fireball, you summon the spirit of flame and it flamethrowers stuff for you.... mostly this isn't much different from normal magic, in effect, but you can probably do some impressively powerful long term ritual magics when you know how to invoke the stronger spirits. And Summon is probably going to be a Focus... probably never as directly powerful or as fast to cast as normal magics, but it has its advantages.

leadership
After the (gory hunting accident) death of kekash who inofficialy had the power for hundreds of harvests the council was in shocked.
In order to keep an somewhat similar powerstructure they decided that two Kasr would be chosen by the people and after that one of them would be chosen by the council
to the title of Kash.
society
The more the castes grew, the more different they became from eachother, and they kept away from eahother the more they differed.
causing a deep suspicion mistrust! against the other castes.
however some interbreeds were made and they were commisioned as workers and mainenance workers inofficialy creating a 5th caste, the casetiya, the lordless.
the casetiya worships all lords as the lords already have their own caste.

Ahra:
I'm glad to see you're breaking up your sentences more, but you don't need to put every sentence on a separate line.

Anyway, you're changing things, which is good, but there's very little meat on these bones (perfectly good bones though they are). These leaders being 'chosen by the people' - is this some kind of general election? Where did they get the idea? How do people feel about it? The suspicions between castes - how suspicious are they? What do they suspect each other of? How does this affect their interactions? Where did these cross-breeds come from? (Also, where did this lord caste come from?)

Tell me more about this king. Who is he, where did he come from, who supports him and why?
This 'caste system' sounds more like a class system; a caste system is... different. The upper classes don't do much labor, so what do they do instead? They must be doing something.
Also, you've hit a pet peeve of mine. 'Physic' is an archaic word for medicine. The word you are looking for is 'physique'. (Also, you want 'sedentary' instead of 'sedimentary'; the latter is about river sediment.)
