Yes. Any gem can be made into jewelry, whether it's magical or not.

Ochita, your turn doesn't work at all. You can't build farms and pastures on the same tile, ever. If you're thinking about improved farms, A) those take more labor, B) they require The Plow, which you don't have, and C) you still couldn't put one on tile 4 because there's no fresh water. Also, you can't equip your mystics with shields; hexbone staves are two-handed weapons.

On another note, I've been thinking that aqueducts are over-costed and not effective enough. I'm thinking I should make them city buildings that let you build farms on any hex. Anyone have thoughts on the matter?

Is there a reason my hunter militia didn't level this turn, with them training?

For the third time, you make them exactly like any other equipment. You say "I spend two labor to turn a unit of earth jade into a unit of earth charms." I do seem to have left it out of the reference post, though. I'll fix that.

Is there a reason my hunter militia didn't level this turn, with them training?
Because it was three words in the middle of a paragraph, and I missed them.

I think I'll change my turn slightly: I eat three extra food, just in case the dark elves were devoted to building a navy and I lose this battle.

Just making sure I didn't miss an event.

Edit : Also, Silver isn't described on the resource list.

On a unrelated note, i am offended that you called my Spearmen with shields, leather armor, and a canoe, "stupid name guys", it is a completely reasonable and descriptive name.  :P

Spoiler: Leadership (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: Society (click to show/hide)

Not as well-written as it could be, but I think it gets the point across.

No reason you can't still tweak it. There will certainly be at least a few days before age 3 starts.

[spoiler]leadership
After the (gory hunting accident) death of kekash who inofficialy had the power for hundreds of harvests the council was in shocked.
In order to keep an somewhat similar powerstructure they decided that two Kasr would be chosen by the people and after that one of them would be chosen by the council
to the title of Kash.
society
The more the castes grew, the more different they became from eachother, and they kept away from eahother the more they differed.
causing a deep suspicion against the other castes.
however some interbreeds were made and they were commisioned as workers and mainenance workers inofficialy creating a 5th caste, the casetiya, the lordless.
the casetiya worships all lords as the lords already have their own caste.

Is there any chance I can get in right now I don't mind being behind a bit.

Not really. I don't want to deal with more than six players, and nobody's showing signs of dropping out. If somebody drops off the face of the earth, you're welcome to join, though.

That said, everyone else is working on their age-end reports, right?

It took a bit of time for me to think my way out of the Oro gaining too much power.

I don't have much time to write it out just now, but I expect to have the age-end-report in tomorrow.
