You should probably at least use your spare 2 labor to smelt bronze. :-\
Don't bother trying to get him to do better turns, its clear he won't.

Because the solution to not being able to control your dakka is MOAR DAKKA.

That's it. We've finally crossed over and become the nation of Da Orky Boyz.

The kitchenette mold free, you move on to the pantry. it's nasty in there. The bacon is grazing on the lettuce. The ham is having an illicit affair with the prime rib, The potatoes see all, know all. A rat in boxer shorts smoking a foul smelling cigar is banging on a cabinet shouting about rent money.

Neither of us recorded my iron right; I should have 3, not 2.

There's some weirdness with my map and possibly turn. The road I built isn't shown, and while my seekers' survey results are shown, my sea scouts' aren't.

Also, do dependent beast units cost upkeep? Do siege weapons suffer any kind of penalty for attacking units like a regular unit?

EDIT: While I'm at it, I need naming advice from the rest of you. What should I call my new iron colony? I'm thinking Ironstone, Ironforge, or Ironsong, and had considered Ironedge just to keep most of the alliteration going. That was never especially intentional, however, and I'd probably be better off breaking the habit sooner than later. I'm certainly open to other suggestions as well.

Oh, oops. I had the sea scouts on exploration, not cartography. And the road I just forgot to draw.

No, they're covered with their handlers. As for siege weapons, they don't suffer any actual penalties, they just have low attack power and have a hard time getting more. Except for ballistas and the like, of course, if you're counting them as siege.

If I colonize the island without cartographing it first, do I miss out on a chance of getting a valuable resource?

Nirur Torir: No. Building a colony on unmapped terrain has the same chance of uncovering a resource as cartography does.

Ahra: You got torn up pretty badly; you need to redo your turn.

Ahra, your turn is not legal. First, even with the military school, you can train two units, or raise two units, but not both. (Or you can train one unit and raise one unit, if you prefer.) Second, you don't have any wooden shields to give the youngfangs you want to raise.
Also, you've forgotten the -1 prosperity from your defeat.

Ah. Well, that works too.

So, here's a bizarre question: Can two different civilizations pool resources, and more importantly knowledge, to do something neither has the stuff to do alone? If two civs each have one of two techs that together allow a magical trinket, for instance, could they work together to produce said trinket?

While we're on the topic, is there any way for players to build or operate buildings or improvements in other players' cities? If I didn't want to or couldn't build something, could I hire someone else to? What about NPC cities?
