 As the times continued after the ceasefire the kasr were struggling to adapt to an lifestyle that werent an almost traditional readyingfor an sudden raid,
 although the traditional armorsmithing and other kasrs working with the new metal barely noticed any changes at all, except one
The earth spoke of something from unknown that were to wander this world, but not alongside, then the earth spoke no more.
but outside this the kasrs were ever so changing, the army decreased except sworn guardians as the kasr turned towards the more worldly matters and scholarship
in order to catch up in the arms race they had fallen behind in, something the orcs had made apparent with their ever unpredictable raids.
something all was joyed over was over, except some that stubborn, mostly from the Fire caste that still had the ancestors blood running hot in their veins
but they were the only ones, the earth castes only cared for harvest and the new ore, the water caste cared for the new galleys lacking crew and
the air caste continued their hunting and wandering.
and such the kasr labored towards the next cycle...
as the priesthood had all their castes elements represented by their matching element they more or less were the spearpoint that the the lower in their castes
gathered around in their efforts to work at the docks, overseeing the boat building, the mining, the forges, and followed the treckers and taught the kasir
of the decifered techniques from the core, deep in the earth, the saviours heart.
The old cold bloods, high in the spire, could watch, but barely interfere as their power mostly stretched to the blood letting battles and war,
but the priesthood, the chosen of the four, were the ones that held the true hold of the kasirs allegiance and faith, making the cold bloods hate the ones the labourers
flocked around to show their work and work harder for...

Well, first of all, should I take that to mean you're accepting the orcs' terms?

Secondly, there's... nothing there. They're trying to adapt to not being at war... what are they doing differently?

I'd be game to run an antagonist, in any sort of flavor you'd like. Chaotic, Lawful, Semi-lawful, supermegaevillawful, Well-meaning, I've got a faction somewhere in my mind that'll work for them all.

And so it has been that the goblins have expanded over these past years, as old people die and new people grow up, and now as they have layed claim to their first colonies....

Truly, now does their gaze turn outward, their old enemy found, and strange new creatures infesting this world... will they let themselves be a small, second rank nation? No! They will grow, and take the world that is theres! And nothing will stop them. Already the war drums beat, and the build up goes on. Soon, soon....

And it better be soon. Back home things are coming to the boiling point as the Shamans find their influence slowly slipping away as they have fragmented between those willing to use their magic to fight and those who remain to the old ways, as the clans eye each other for the spoils of the colonies, as the colonies grow restive and begin to demand an equal voice, as the mutations grow in number and the river folk grow more apart from their kin, for the result of years of foricing the freaks onto the river is beginning to show, and all demand that something be done...

They just need a short victories war to settle things down and let them get through this hard patch. What can go wrong?

So, I haven't forgotten about this, I've just been very busy. I'll try to get my report up relatively soon.

After several seconds of thought, I have determined two things:

1) It will be funny if I do not get airships in this age and my navy proves itself useless against the antagonists. (I think all I've succeeded in doing with it so far was killing a primitive dark elven "navy" with galleys. Killing sea monsters doesn't count, as they wouldn't be a problem if I only had coast-bound galleys.)
2) It will be fun being destroyed by Strife.

No big rush. I'm settling in to a new job, so I'm hardly chomping at the bit.

Ahra, that's only marginally better. They're looking to catch up technologically, and what else? What does the lizard on the street think about the new peace? Is it different between different castes? And so on.
