Since Erkki just joined, I'll need to restart the game one more time, so here's what you need to do.


Here is the resource pack I mentioned above in the OP.  Just extract to your SE4 directory.  This will give you everything you need (including better portraits and the starship troopers and gaim race pictures):

I will need you to create you race empire file.  To do this, you will need to start the game up using the launcher and select the DN4 mod.  Then create a custom race using the 2000 points (IMPORTANT: MAKE SURE TO SELECT YOUR PLANET "NATIVE" TYPE -ROCK, ICE, OR GAS).  Also, choose a password for your empire.  When you are finished, save your race out as .emp file and send it to me (or link it here or on our pbw page).

Please get this to me ASAP.  We've already had to restart this game about 4 times so people are getting impatient.

If you downloaded my resource pack and overwrote the Picture files when requested, you should have gotten them all.  If something was wrong with my archive, you can get them here as well: http://wiki.spaceempires.net/index.php/ImageMod (see the mirror link)

I think I might be able to just upload erkki's empire file without restarting the game, once he gets that to me.  I'm still a newb with pbw

No need to upload, using Toltayan shipset. I suppose...

The mechanics are pretty unclear. Or at least the PBW service misses very important parts in the setting up part of the game.
