Worth noting: cannabis does not have physical dependency.

You're going to have to back that statement up with something.

Is that directed to me or C-Poo? Because if there's a source confirming what he said in there somewhere, I could really use some help narrowing it down somewhat.

It was mentioned in psychiatry class last year (actually, in 2009, strictly speaking).

Notice the difference between physical and psychological dependence, too. Cocaine doesn't cause much physical dependence either, but it's highly addictive nonetheless.

I believe one laces with more expensive substances to induce addiction.

In my introduction to the subject, what I heard was that there was often a lot of particulate impurities in poorly-processed street marijuana that could really screw with your lungs, even more than something one smokes often does.
It's true, and the impurities are usually piled glass. Heavy, cut your lung thus inject the drug directly into your bloodstream, and dirt cheap. remplaced with glass microballs these days (does the same thing, just a bit better). Avoid pot cut this way a all cost.
And ye another argument for legalization : quality control.

I believe that Cannabis should not only be legal in general, but also mandatory for anybody with a Type A personality

Well, according to x2, it's got no negative effects whatsoever (many, many studies can confirm this!) so maybe we ought to just make it mandatory for everyone and there wouldn't be a downside.

Yeah, so, pretty much I think this thread is a bit dumb thanks to the OP contributing absolutely nothing.

That would not necessarily be good for society as a whole.

Not to mention they'd get the health risks that naturally come with smoking anything.
