Does anyone else often go on this site and have interesting / funny stories to share? I once met a major MUDder girl on there (I think she played one of the Iron Realms games or something) which was pretty funny.

I'm sure everyone else has more amusing stories, though. :p

Omegle threads always get locked, because Toady doesn't get that the whole point of Omegle is to dick around with people, and thinks they constitute "raid" threads.

Can't even remember. I thought they were just advertising on there.

I also had someone who played that game on Omegle.  She was pretty cool and I ended up trying it out because I had pretty much nothing to do at the time and she made it sound fun.

Eh.  Her guild (Not a player guild, one of the in-game class guilds), was pretty much terrible.  Nepotism and all that.  Probably could've gotten in on some of that since she was the guildmaster.  Oh well.  Also Iron Realms PVP sucks and the roleplay is pretty bad too, lots of Mary Sues.

What? If I am over-brief it's because I've seen it happen several times before, and have heard that it had happened a number of times before that too, and am thusly exasperated at the situation. It'll run on for a few pages, then Toady will come in and lock it proclaiming it to be a "raid" thread. This is a gross misinterpretation of the very purpose of Omegle, but one that continues to occur nonetheless.
