Ruby shines brightly in the lazy afternoon sunlight. Its luminescence casting a red shadow against the ground. Several ants have been drawn to its appearance and begin to shape an anthill underneath the majestic scarlet radiance.

Backstory: When he was young he ran around trying to kill rats in which he succeded killing three giant rats with his two knives he now carries. Later on he also took a liking to making wooden spears, sheilds and other weaponry.

Hashtfa noticed a kobold following him, Hashtfa had seen her before, but hadn't learned her name. Now would be a good time to ask. Hashtfa bowed as she neared.
"Hello."
"Jfrible like big kobold."
Well she was certainly friendly. And she hadn't tried to kill him yet, so she was fine by Hashtfa's standards.
"Hashtfa likes you as well."
It would be nice to have at least one friend around here. Who knows, maybe she would introduce Hashtfa to her friends, and they could become good friends as well. There were benefits to having a social circle.

Haha, I had a post ready for when he picked me up, but guess not!

Ruby continues to rest upon the ground, glimmering from the radiant sun. The once small group of ants has grown twice in size as the anthill becomes larger. The hole causes the gem to shift to its side, a brief sparkle directed towards the kobolds' cave.

<Sparkle briefly, attempting to lure non-Jfrible kobold>

A smaller separate group of ants begin to encircle the gem, continually traveling in a crude circle.
