32.  I will consider it proper to hold meetings that are to take place in an office actually in that office, and not standing on the other side of the northwest wall, shouting through it at the diplomat.  This is especially true of the other end of the northwest wall happens to be outside.  During a siege.

You could have berries on the rocks and the dwarves would say it was "berry gneiss."
You should die horribly for this. And I mean that in the nicest possible way.

36 For that matter, I will not pick up cages with untamed things in them. ever. Nothing good will come of it.

37 I will learn to swim.

EDIT: 38 - If there is ever a fearsome beast tamed in my fortress and (foolishly) left free for adoption, it's mine.*

There's a difference - in his, the sock itself doesn't have to be on fire to be ignored.

39. I will not approach fire of any sort, be it in the form of grass fires, burning items, or smoldering furniture.

41.  If I see a dwarf who killed a Forgotten Beast's eyes rot and fall out, I will stay true to the instinct in the back of my head that says that's really freakin' creepy, and will NOT rush out to give him hugs or high fives, no matter how much he may want them.  I will instead go back to my room and lock my door until the eye-rotting plague has passed.

42.  While I am at it, I will avoid rotting excretions of dead forgotten beasts like the Plague... because they probably carry the Plague.

Good tip. What about fresh excretions of living forgotten beasts?
