But it's not just a remix: it's a retexture.

There's mashing up two audio tracks, and then there's going one step beyond.

All I can say... is "Wat"

Sorry for double post, but it must be bumped.

So I've been thinking of some DF-inspired builds

Cacame is easy: hammer of Vamos, Ornstein's armor, and Gwyn's crown. Killing Hellkite dragon is a must. All soul grinding must be done upon forest hunters, because they're the closest thing there is. Probably should kill Gwyndolin as well.

Ironblood: Basically a pyromancer tank, to simulate his god powers. Iron Golem's axe is a must, since there are no cabinets.

Morul: Greatsword of Artorias, to show jack-of-all-trades, and no clothing, as that's how his author showed him. Ideally, max level and optimized to use every weapon in the game, using a different one for each fight.

Anyone want to help me think of a Deebus build? All I can think of is that it needs a spear and a small shield, but anything else I can't think of.

They are extremely vulnerable to fire, and heavy weapons. I hear you can flatten them with a heavy swing of a zweihander; probably some hammers, too.
You can't actually flatten them but you can stagger them. Once you have it in a stunlock, it's basically a question of which runs out first, its health or your stamina.

I think he meant "Flatten" by terms of them falling apart. It happens with most heavy attacks, actually. I got a pair of giant skeletons to fall apart with a heavy swing of the Balder Side Sword.

Stock up on charcoal pine resin before doing tomb of the giants, too.

I FINALLY got to the bonfire in blight town. The entire thing was actually much easier than I remembered it, and the only thing that really gave me trouble was gravity, and those boulder barbarians. NEXT? Quelagg's Domain. Maybe I won't die horrible in the first corridor next time!

Here's a tip if you're going to do Quelaag's domain next: if something doesn't attack you, don't provoke it

I'm on Xbox, but it doesn't matter, my Gold membership ran out two years ago, and I think I'll try and challenge myself with a single-player run anywho.
Thanks for the offer though

I'm on PS3 and PC.  You need... membership... to play DS online?

Yep - need Xbox Live Gold membership to do any Xbox multiplayer.

While this is bumped, I'd like to say that I'm doing a 2h greatsword, no shield run, mid roll only, miracles - and it's going very well! It's a fun build.

Going through the game blind and solo the first time is best in my opinion. Aside from the risk of invaders, the game gets way easier with co-op and you lose a lot from the experience.
I regret not going into Dark Souls blind. It feels like I missed out on a lot by knowing how everything worked ahead of time.

I recently picked up Demon's Souls and it's been pretty fun. It's not as polished as DaS, the enemies are easier to cheese and the bosses are far less challenging, but the levels are all consistently good and nothing seems like it was overly rushed like, say, Izalith. I've been playing as a spellsword and I can say that using the Thief ring and magic is overpowered.
