What happens if you take more than one? I've grabbed all of them and nothing's happened.

Yep. Only pick up 1 or else something happens.
You can pick up 2, but picking up the third triggers the event even if you haven't met the certain person who 'triggers' it.

Picking up two is fine, in fact getting the one in New Londo Ruins is the first thing I do with a new character.

Oh. THAT thing. I usually just free him, then kill him once I exhaust his dialogue. Much less annoying that way.

I killed finally made it to Anor Londo with my character today.
Rebuilt my tanky Gravelord Sword user into a fucking buff Zweimolester wielder.
No regrets.

Orange and Smoothie only gave me minor problems - it took me 4 tries to get them down.
I was pleasantly surprised when I could stagger fatty in his super saiyan form with a power attack.
I then cleared out the pretty picture planet, and died multiple times to the spiky monster truck tires.
And as of this moment, I need to figure out which Lord Soul to go for first. Is there an order that tends to work best, or do I just wing it at this point?

At that point, it's pretty much metroidvania, as they say. I guess the Duke's Archives is easiest to get into, but some people find it a pain in the ass to clear. The rest of them are down through Blighttown and the Catacombs.

Wheel skeles are my only weakness. I hate the tomb of giants.

I don't know how viable it is for people who haven't maxed out their endurance or spear, but I found that I could 2-shot the wheel skellies from behind my shield with winged spear and grass crest shield. A higher poise shield is probably safer.

Zweihanders can one-shot them.
Because we didn't see that coming.

Yes, but it requires better timing on your part.

END tanking, especially with a mid-shield that doesn't have 100% block and fairly low poise, is a bad idea against wheel skeles. You can get away with it when you're one on one, but it's better to just dodge and get out of their way. You just need to make sure you keep track of them and don't lose your focus.

Zwei is solution to end all solutions.

I wish Gandalf had a Zwei when he fought the Balrog.

So, I just found this mod script that equips a random weapon with random upgrade path/level ever 7 seconds: http://en.reddit.com/r/darksouls/comments/1r8p37/new_weapon_every_7_seconds_random_weapon_script/

Nothing like your right hand getting switched to the eagle shield just as you're about to backstab! It's surprisingly fun, though.

I wish Gandalf had a Zwei when he fought the Balrog.

Given that he waited for the Balrog to approach him across a narrow bridge, I'm thinking Dragonslayer Greatbow would have been more useful. ;)

Gandalf's a wizard. Why didn't he just soul spear that bitch?

Not only that, but he's an upper-tier angel equivalent too, so he could probably Great Lightning Spear it at the same time.
