> Look around?
In the eastern part of the room there is a bear trap with a note inside. "No surprise here." The bear trap isn't held down by anything. No signs (besides the obvious) of a trap. Auto-loot engaged. She hands it to the elf for safekeeping.

Sanjeliza: Finally, a use for you.

In the southwest corner there's a loose rock. When kicked it unearths a crawlspace that she thinks she can expand so she can crawl through it.

The passageway opens easily, allowing you to come to a crossroads. To the north is the room you just came from. There are wide tunnels going east and west, and a narrow one going south. The one going east turns south, but before it does there is a door. That door also goes south. The one going west has a problem: There is a black nothingness where there was once path. There is a 20-foot gap in the floor, and your wings are still in chains. Probably not safe to try to cross. There is nothing remarkable about the southern corridor so far as you can see.

The nothingness on the western path is not a hole to a lower floor. You know what portals feel like, and it feels like a negative energy portal. It doesn't suck you in when you touch it, but full immersion would see terrible consequences. Not only because the things inside negative energy portals often make even demons think twice.

(No, I didn't mean images. I meant descriptive language, use lots of it. Just describe actions in greater detail, what the whole body is doing, optical details like gleams and reflections, all try to get somehting related to each sense(except posibly taste) into each update, etc.)

Check the eastern corridor, the eastern door, and the southern corridor. In that order.

This.  Also, how is the elf holding up?

Check the eastern corridor, the eastern door, and the southern corridor. In that order.
The eastern corridor turns south, and at the edge of your vision you see spikes in the middle of the path. Spikes that look like defensive measures. There's probably someone down that way.

The eastern door is made of metal, and has gizmo-like things on the sides. It's probably some kind of clockwork door.

Down the southern corridor is another room. Inside this room is a leopard. The leopard has not spotted you as far as you can tell.

Also, how is the elf holding up?

The elf is holding up well, and is trying to hold the bear trap in a way that will not allow to to shut on him. Pretty intelligent move on his part.

Put the trap in the S-corridor, then get the leopard's attention.

Self judge yourself here; can we take on the leopard?  Most likely yes, but hey it's worth asking.

I say avoid the easternd door...  And I say go with Darvi's plan.

Sanjeliza has certain arrogance issues.

Put the trap in the S-corridor, then get the leopard's attention.
The trap is successfully placed. Unfortunately, the clatter caused the leopard to take notice, and it bolted down the corridor to confront you. And it spotted the trap while doing it. The leopard sinks his teeth into Sanjeliza, but she's still in fighting prime. She counters by unloading on it with her arms, and tail. The leopard takes a good deal of damage, and runs back into the room it came from. You'll have to follow it to continue the fight.

She's a demonic half dragon.  You cannot overstate your strength when you are a demonic half dragon.

Argh, took some damage.  I doubt that Sanjeliza is feeling too down...  still, I don't see why we would pursue the leopard.

Use the trap as a projectile.

Yeah, that trap's gonna be the solution to all of our problems *g*
