That's...  odd.  I thought only one person came down here at a time.  So this is either an enemy, a guide, a...  something?

> Talk to Elf

Elf: I overheard what your swords said...
Longsword: He's probably only here to die horribly. I wouldn't bother talking to him.
Elf: Hey! I have just as much a chance of being the one. Don't I...?
Longsword: Do you hear a voice in your head telling you he'd like to play a game with you?
Elf: No?
Longsword: Then I'm right, you're wrong, and it's time to carry on.
Sanjeliza: Do you have any use?
Elf: I can heal?

>Turn Left

Down the left corridor there's a door to the north. The corridor itself keeps going, and you can't see its end yet. The elf follows along with his snake.

The room to the north is big, and you can't see its far walls. There looks to be an alter in the middle of the room, but you can't make out the whole thing.

Half expect Sanjeliza to ignore this, but.

Either we offer a human elven sacrifice or... lets just examine the altar. Without touching it of course.

> Throw Rapier at altar.

Rapier: Hey, what's that -- aaaaaaaahhhhhh

Sanjeliza manages to land the rapier on the alter, allowing her to see a good deal more of the room. Written above the altar (in blood) is the text "Ten spider corpses will earn you another path to freedom. I'm just full of bargains today, aren't I?"

Longsword: I would ignore the fetch quests. The rewards weren't worth it for me.
Rapier: You didn't even complete one of them!
Longsword: ... shut up.

The room is otherwise empty.

Examine the right room. Also look out for arachnids.

This.  I'm just worried that the lich will bring the corpses to us.

Examine the right room. Also look out for arachnids.
The right corridor is long, and featureless until it comes to the end. It ends with a doorway. The doorway is wooden with no apparent locks, and claw marks on the door read "Have fun!"

I'm not making many maps for this game, but since there are still unexplored areas in the starter area:

Red means unexplored corridor passage. Blue is where you are. I figure these will be handy once in awhile, but I will burn out fast if I have to make them every update. This game has a lot of sprawl in every direction.

Eh, we've got talking swords. Although they're damn annoying (without exception), they tend to be extremely powerful.

Edit: Eh, maybe some of us can update the map once in a while.

I like them so far.  Pretty fun swords.

> Foot, door.

I've been drawing a map on my notebook for it, I guess I can update with a map if you want.

Honestly, the map is simply for your convenience. If anyone else is having problems visualizing, it might be nice to post it for them once in a while, but otherwise, I think we're probably good.

> Tail, door.
(minor fix for effect) Sanjeliza's tail slams the door open. It wasn't even on hinges. Inside the room there's a circular stairway leading up something like the insides of a tower.

Ignore stairway for now and follow the left corridor.

you know. Given that the morphology of the main character is the greatest feature of this game, you really should bring more attention to it and describe actions relating to it in specific ways and so on.

Ignore stairway for now and follow the left corridor.
The left corridor didn't go on for very much longer before it turned to the south. Right into a room. It was a strange looking room, but a room nonetheless. Also in the centre of the room there is a hyena. The hyena has not spotted you so far. Or done anything, really.

you know. Given that the morphology of the main character is the greatest feature of this game, you really should bring more attention to it and describe actions relating to it in specific ways and so on.

Depending on what you mean, that is a [fanart required] suggestion. I'm pretty sure it is, but I'd like you to elaborate further before I stamp it as such.

>SNEAK ATTACK, BITCH!

Ahh, the gentle growth of bloodlust in the gut. Warms a demon woman's soul, it does.

Rapier: By Bahamut, she's sneak attacking with us!
Longsword: Fuck her! I'm lawful good and a paladin! She can't sneak attack with me!
Rapier: I'm a paladin too, you know!
Longsword: Oh, stop reminding me. Please.

Thankfully, she was already attacking by the time the swords figured it out. The longsword's comment only made the hyena jump out of the way of the longsword. And then right into the rapier. The shocked hyena gets no chance to counter before Sanjeliza hacks into him again with her longsword.

Combat over.

You don't see anything immediately in the room, but something tells you there is more than meets the eye. Especially the fact that the hyena's pelt has black spots on it spelling out "Look around you."
