Turn 0-Space Siege

The S.S. Hawkeye. A RED Epsilon-Class Friagte, being sent to deliver a fatal backstab. to the BLUE front lines.On board, a 9-man crew-a group of people quickly thrown together, alongside a high-ranking official, Commander Jacob Black. Their plan was simple. While the YELLOW, GREEN and BLUE armies clashed, RED would sneak behind their lines and spy sap their most productive facilities. Epsilons were small, adgile and had Radar Stealth functions, making them an invaluable tool for Stealth missions. And with only one of them, it was nigh impossible to know what was coming.

"Right, men, here's the plan. We're on scheduled course for one of BLUE's most infamous production buildings, the Rough Diamond Mineral Refinary. Take it out, and a whole system chain falls with it. Their main power source is Uraninite Rods. That's a highly volotile mixture of Uranium and Kyrptonite, and will go off at the slightest knock. Bloody powerful, though. All we need to do is either extract the rods, or set a time bomb near them so we can make an escape. Any-" Before Jacob could finish his sentance, a loud blip was heard from the radar. "Let's see... eh... one... two... three... five Vulcans? What the bloody?" Vulcans-fast BLUE fighters which were designed to hook onto and board enemy ships. And there were 5 headed straight towards the Hawkeye. "I don't give a damn if we're not on radar, if they get a visual, they're gonna go all in on us... too late!"

You have (2) turns before you're borded, and you had better be ready by then!

I fortify myself in an outer corridor where I suspect the enemies will board, using boxes, bags, trash, life preservers, and whatever other random stuff I can find lying around.

I set up some Kobold like traps-tripping wires, pitfalls and poison dart traps, along the route of likely incursion.

Technically, lining a wall with spikes, then quickly switching gravity in the corridor so the trapee "falls down" onto the spikes could be construed as a pit trap.  Make the spikes retractable and you can save even more space.  It's a pit trap that can be immediately reset, formed by a corridor that would seem, even after the trap was triggered and reset, to be completely innocuous.  Actually, rapidly switching artificial gravity would be a great defense for a star ship (provided that the crew is prepared for it by being strapped down somehow, or hopping in mechs that can easily grip the walls of the corridors no matter the gravity direction).

Turn 1-BOOM SHAKKA LAKKA

HK-47 works out where the BLUE attackers will land. (1) Your circuits fry up at this hard bit of mathematics. (4) You manage to unscramble them, but not before depleting some of your energy reserves (-1Hp)

John activates all defensive maneuvers. (5) You manage to hop into the randomly appearing turret, and fire artillery rounds at all of the invaders. (1 Vs 3)(1 Vs 2)(6 Vs 3)(2 Vs 5)(4 Vs 6) It turns out that your aim is crap, but you still hit one of the invaders. (5+5(Heavy Atrillery Cannon)=10) The middle ship is rapidly engulfed in flames! Nice shot!

HighEndNoob atempts to locate an armory. (5) This is, of course, silly. You have a MATTER DISPENSER, which can dispense nearly anything which is small enough to fit inside the dispense box. It's quite a large dispense box.

Dr. Fre finds some medical supplies. (6) He simply dispenses himself a Medigun, but damages it while wielding it. (Because of the way this game works, yes, you CAN heal HK-47)

Pvt. Torir fortifies his position. (2) This simply involved moving a few chairs around in a non-productive manner.

Vrrset gives all the weapons a check up. (2) This may or may not have been simply staring at them. He then grabs his own weapon. (1) Oh dear. It appears that your atomizer has just atomized itself. Oh well.

Dol'Kwer'ig sets up some traps. (4) When moving around, your enemies had better be careful! (Basically, enemies on this ship take a roll to set of a trap. Anyone who fails takes damage.)

Jones does a dance. (2) There is nothing special about it.

Jacob uses the Heavy Artillery! (5) As it turns out, he is a master with this. (5+1, 2+1, 2+1 Vs 6, 3, 6)(1+1 Vs 6)(5+1 Vs 5)(2+1 Vs 1) Despite nearly clinching the first enemy, and wildly missing the second, the third and fourth foes are hit HARD! (5+5(Heavy Artillery Cannon)=10)(4+5(HAC)=9) The first ship blows up, and the second is heavily smoking. ROLL TO REGAIN CONTROL! (3) He is JUST able to fight.

3 Enemy ships will be boarding your ship next turn. Onboard, you have a Heavy ARtillery Cannon, a large amount of traps, and a Matter Dispenser.
