Drink Stockpile - Dwarves not Storing Items - [33g]
« on: January 31, 2008, 09:08:00 am »

Hey

Sorry if this is already reported, couldn't find it anywhere though.

I've got Food->Drink stockpiles all around my Fortress in good locations, but my Dwarves arn't taking them to the stockpiles.  They're just leaving them in the Stills (which are now completly cluttered).
I also got some moved to the trade depot, and when no longer trading, they still wouldn't store them in the stockpiles.

do you have an excessive ammount of other hauling jobs going on?  it may just be that no one is available to haul the booze. especially if you have food hauling turned off on your working dwarves and only have peasants and soapmakers hauling.

EDIT:  also, I have never run into a problem like this,  I usually setup a seperate food and drink stockpile. (it helps with the barrels.)

Nope, I've got plenty of spare dwarves, even a few set to food hauling only to see if was that already  :(

Also, they are quite simply just Drink Piles, no other food/items are allowed on them.  (That's what I meant by Food->Drink, drink was a sub-catagory of food, never mind)
