Agreed, sonar seems cooler.  More range I think.  But sight would definitely be handy, and we might even get pictures out of it.  =D

The cell cant buy these they are too expensive.

The cell invests 50 energy points into senses and gains basic sight.

The cell is looking up, by default, but can look anywhere and at anything.
