The cell doesnt have enough stored energy to build a nucleus out of its nucleoid.

By adding 25 points of energy to senses the cell can gain basic touch.

What to do this?

Is the movement section supposed to link to Daft Punk's "Around the World"?

I'd say move north, but I doubt we have a way of sensing of direction. So move randomly until we find something that feels interesting or we expend half our energy.

The cell expends 5 energy moving "north" and bumps into a semi-solid lump that moves as it feels you, it feels like another cell.

The cell is too small to consume this cell but the other cell does use it's pilus to grab you and form a mating bridge and gives you a plasmid for the production of sex pili...how nice!

Ingore plasmid for the time being. Go 'north' some more in search of suitably sized noms!
