Ok maybe I'm just a scrub but I know Wolves are absolutely kickass...
But WTFBBQ how did you defeat ALL OF THAT with only a single wolf frigate?
Three important factors:
1: At one frigate, you'll have 100% combat readiness, which makes all your attributes 10% better - as well, you've probably got maxed combat skill, so those 10th level bonuses to things like damage, shield mitigation, speed, etc...
2: Missiles in the newest version hit like a fucking truck. I forget the name, but I run the ship with a medium energy and a medium missile, and can hit the 'fast missile reload' to throw 12 harpoons in 3 seconds, and they'll pretty much take down anything short of a cruiser. Using torpedoes (4,000 damage with +1 ammo for 5th level missile skill, and 6,000 damage at 10th level missile skill) you can just shred capital ships by getting in close and letting fly.
3: Sequential fighting is in favor of the player. Hop in, throw missiles, take down 2-3 ships, escape. Repeat. Repeat. Now there's just like 2 badly damaged frigates and 1 battleship and that's an easy fight with torps.
The wolf is HIGHLY maneuverable, so getting behind ships with front shields means throwing torps down their tailpipe and knocking off like half their hull with one hit, while being so zippy that the medium guns can't even touch you.
Honestly, my favorite was the cloaking ship with 4 forward light universal mounts. With 2-3 blasters and full flux vents, it's entirely possible to phase through an enemy, pop out the other side, and throw a cluster shot at their rear, able to re-cloak so fast they can't get shots in. If it didn't hit hull, then it probably overloaded their shields, and a single torp mount would have no trouble hitting an overloaded capital ship.
Really in the hands of a good player, agile ships are just terrifying, even moreso when you start getting the passive skill upgrades for agility and speed and armor - even when they do hit you, it doesn't hurt as much.
