War room eh? A war room implies wars, which implies political entities in conflict. Will we be able to found our own empires?

I'm sorry, but...

YES! Love that interface. The masses are, I'm sure, appeased for the moment. But only for the moment ... Thanks for throwing that up for us.

... and now I've got Lonely Island's "Like a Boss" song stuck in my head.

Screenshots are great for this game, it has that "photogenic" quality to its presentation. Fantastic UI, very cool ship designs and art assets, effects that make me want to play just see them in action -- the only way I'd be more pleased is if I were playing right now.

Edit for this screenshot, which I believe is older (but still Starfarer) (from Twitter):

Way to take something and run with it :)

You'll have... holdings.  Not empires, since that implies a certain vastness. And for the warroom, think ships being moved around on a map in a ww2-style headquarters. That's the inspiration for it.

...Hopefully we can play it within a week. :D

I'll just say that April 30th is still April.

Me too.  It's stuck in my head. LIKE A BOSS.

Thus did the half-way point of the month pass, marked with the iron and sweat of the great rabble. The cry of "Screenshots! More screenshots!" echoed across the timeless void of space.

As another day yields itself to history, will the Creator hear our plea? Or will the frantic voice of the many be swept aside by the crashing of Eclipse? (That is, uh, if you use Eclipse for your work. What do you use?)

Remember folks every screenshot takes time out of development!  Sure it may seem like a simple thing to just hit alt-print screen during testing, but they probably have to be cleared with the guys over in marketing.  And the guys over in marketing are probably very busy programming the game, drawing sprites, brewing coffee and figuring out what to wear for casual friday!
