Besides, he's also a washed up action star who can fight well enough to take on everyone in this thread at once and win, and then send us all to jail using his powers as The Governator. Unless Strife and MaximumZero have posted in this thread. Then we might have a chance. Maybe.

That is wrong. We are actually doing rather well. Fox news likes to pretend that we are, but there is no truth to that statement, especially compared to other states. I will shortly attach supporting documents that I do not have the time at the moment to locate.

We DO subsidise other states. California pays more to the feds than we recieve, like most blue states. Most red states, on the other hand, actually get more money from the fedral government than they pay out. This is because while both parties are corrupt, only republicans are corrupt and effective.

And the Gubernator is out. Anyway, his wife was the real power, and she was extremely democrat, which is why he acted the way he did. Besides, it was worth it just for the tourism commercials they made with him.

We would have the 9th largest economy, last I heard.

You know what state I hate the most? Oregon.
I just don't like anything there, and a few classmates bragging about being from there don't help either.
I also hate the weather for no apparent reason.

Pffft, any state that has both L.A. and San Francisco can just go away as far as I'm concerned.  Like I said, the only thing that makes California bearable in the best of times is Blizzard Entertainment and Blizzcon.

Hey man, Oregon's cool. I drove through there once. As I recall, they have service-only gas pumps and there's porn shops like starbuckses up there.

Let me see... the main reason someone would dislike SF is because you either hate gay marriage or cable cars. Or sea lions or orange bridges. And you know what? All of those are awesome.

And don't even get me started on BART. Now that's a high-class transit system.

The thing with California as a whole is that we aren't any one thing in particular. We've got everything from hippies to rednecks (especially around my county), deserts to beaches to forests to mountains, everything from the center of urbana to rolling acres of wilderness, and in fact you all should come over here right now. Oh wait, you can't, because you are all snowed in. California is the one state not re-glacierizing!

And the earthquakes keep life interesting.

You want my vote for worst state? Let's go with D.C.
