As long as I don't get sick again, expect the update within this week.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
We shall not be stopped! Erendor, Thresher, Tovahz the Third, and Glahd, We WILL clear this bridge out of these turrets!

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Argh, we've already lost both thahds. But they got that turret down and the fyoras the other, so Tovahz IV and Sahd shall take their place.
Bridge Battle!

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
An Outsider on a Barred Isle! But I'm quite low on essense and are down one thahd, so I'll allow them for now, let us return to Pentil for now and tell them of the freed bridge.

After telling Pixley and getting not much in return (the Awakened aren't very agreeable to me but at least they had plenty of money to give away...), lets go see if we can sneak by those Outsiders. No point making rash decisions at this point.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Hmm, I think I heard that name before, Trajkov. Perhaps if I lie?
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Hmm, Interesting. But I think I feel another canister nearby, so lets go get it!

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Why? Why did it have to be surrounded by Burning Turrets? I can't fight that without losing creations!
But I want that Canister!
...
ARGH.

(I'll get that one later)

Continuing Eastward leads me to a forest filled with strong vlish and roamers. I need more essence, dangit! Even Tovahz IV and Sahd are taking major hits now! So we try to sneak around the forest, seeing a strange stone circle, and a building with essence and healing pools! Yessss!
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Spotted!
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Thank goodness for these pools. Now, forward my creations!
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
What ARE these things? are they related to the stone circle? hmm...

...After a while more of forest and small encounters with roamers, we finally emerge from there! A nearby sign says we are in the Crystal Burrows, with Southbridge to the west and Kazg to the East! Obviously we must go east, but following the road would be a smart idea.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Well, this is quite the problem. I doubt even my most heavily reinforced thahd could get through all of those, though that essense pool is only a little bit away, perhaps if I made one, went back for the essense to make a second, but is it worth it? I can't even try to disarm them all, if I try to do any of them there won't be enough of me left to feed even a worm!

This way is definately no. I will go through the southern caves instead.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
A switch? Hmm, I wonder if this is the mine controller or not..Well, might as well go check.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Perfect, it was. Now, onto Kazg, probable village of the idiotic Takers!
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

...But an Obeyer outpost first, apparently.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
How did he not know I was coming? obviously the Obeyer serviles are lacking in communications skill, with thier beliefs you'd think A SHAPER would be enough of a reason to spread word around. But perhaps I'm thinking too much of them, they aren't as independant of thinkers as the Awakened.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Well, thats just my luck. I end up stranded on a Barred island with two tainted sects of serviles, one normal sect that have crappy communications, and a Rogue Shaper. Goddamnit.
"Well, what else did you hear?"
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Might as well rest here for now, since my original plan to blast the takers to death is now completely ruined with a Rogue Shaper possibly among them...

The servile outpost leader says he has an idea. I suppose all help is good help now, until I can see what the Takers are like for sure.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
I'm starting to see a connection here...but who is it? That Trajkov person? Or someone else? For now, let us move on. There was an essense pool in here, and with some of the extra essense I decide to boost all four of them somewhat.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
That was not a good sound. I'll let the serviles attack first, since they have some weapons.
Attack of the Rogues!

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
We have lost Sahd. But with his loss comes a reorganization. I need stronger creations, there was a Battle Alpha in that group! So, Thresher is uncreated to give me enough essense to do so, while Tovahz IV, Erendor, and Thadder are (re-)made stronger and with more durability. I do not like having so little essense left, but the serviles had 12 javelins, I had forgotten about having 6 steel javelins until now, and I'm sure there are more in Pentil or Vakkiri. Onwards to Kazg!

(I could use a better name than Thadder, if you guys have any thadh names left)

(Computer was acting weird today, doesn't want to open Taksi for some reason. so no videos until thats fixed.)

Dashing quickly through the Quiet Marshes, we reach the Kazg Plains.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

A Taker servile talks to me. As much as I would like to crush the disobedient thing, I am not the strongest here, and also likely outnumbered. But eventually, they will fall.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Fine. Go.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
They sound like smart thadhs, not serviles. But they listen to orders well, and I make it to the leader unscathed.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Trying to get anymore information out of him is a lost cause, the only thing I learn is that the Outsiders are called the Sholai, and I can guess they are the allies the Taker speaks of. Hmm...

Well, there you go, guys. we have talked to all three villages now, and learned about all the servile sects. Anyone want to change their vote, or do we stay with the Obeyers?

Crap, I'd forgotten all about this, even though I have what looks like half an update in my LP folder from the 4th.
So Mini-update while I get back on this (Part 26.5, I guess. all of it seems to be inside Kazg):

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Well, the Takers aren't idiots, at least.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
A tinker servile here, of all places.

(We're at Northbridge.)

Again with the mines! Argh!

Yay for friendly mines, for once.

A servile shop all the way out here? Odd. But lets see what he has to say.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

If there was a servile to the north, what is south of the bridge? More stuff I could use?

Not really, unfortunately. Terror is probably the one thing I DID NOT need extra of right now, I need creature improvements or knowledge of better ones! Still, it is a canister, so yay! Back to the bridge we go.

...Why did I not go this way the first time? That was absurdly simple with the repaired spore baton, while Southbridge was full of turrets and pain. *sigh* Now, onwards to see if anything useful is over here! South first.

Eh. Not a canister, but I feel less likely to burn with this, so I'll keep it. Onwards to the east again, lets see if theres anything more interesting than bad former decisions and lone serviles selling stuff.

...Another one? Really? Well, lets see if he knows anything better.

Exploring a bit more of the Barred Cells, I find two things: A dormant servant mind with no food nearby for it, which restricts the possible explorable area quite a bit, and a canister that gives me the Speed spell. I suppose I will go back towards Kazg and do some (careful) exploration of the area around the place, since theres not much left I haven't explored on this half of the island without going up towards the 'dangerous, rogue-filled' northern parts.

The Takers may be stupid ideologically, but they know how to survive in this ruined soil, at least: There are still crops here. Almost useless ones, but still.

Finally, someone who actually has something to say. it is a Taker of course, but I didn't expect much else over here.

Exploring the area shows me a lone servile hiding out in what I suppose would count as 'the woods' in this disaster area. Is this the spy, or just a loner Taker?

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Interesting quandary here, journal. Do I leave the spy here in hope she will know more later, or do I reveal her and gain something from the Takers? Which should I do?

Well, I suppose it does not matter for now, journal. I can always just wait on it. Let us go to East Kazg, and see if we can find anymore information that would be of use.

"Eko Blade commands I be let through here! Do so, Taker Guard!"
'I do not believe that, Shaper. But let us see if you are truthful.' Veel replies.

"Would I say anything but the truth in Taker lands? There is but 1 plus 3 of me, and quite many more of you. Now, whats past this gate?"

(Aha, the outsiders! This will be interesting...)"What else can you tell me?"

I believe I will explore a bit more first, Veel. To the north, I spy a building of somekind.

Another goddamn tinker servile. What the hell is with having so many tinkers here? 3 was plenty enough for an island of this size as far as I can tell. ::)
"What is behind those doors, tinker?"

Damnit, I want those (likely to be) canisters! How will I get 500 coins? "What is around here? Veel Blade did not say anything she didn't need to." He mentions three places: a Mixing Hall, which is probably dangerous by now, the East Gate that Veel Blade was guarding, and The Cult of Defiance. I ask him about the last one.

Magic-wielding serviles is even worse than artillas! They better stay out of my way until I can deal with them, because their lives are forfeit for attempting to have what we had specifically forbade them from having!
