Things like human leaders of goblin civs seiges are fairly common.

Goblins tend to snatch a lot of kids if they are near a human or elf or dwarf civ, but also get into plenty of wars because of it, and the goblin populations get decimated by the constant warfare.  The only thing really helping it is that they suppliment their populations with snatched kids, who become historical figures, and tend to get put in the military to fight their own race, often in 10-to-1 odds if it's an elf fighting against zerg rushing elves, meaning the roughly 5% who survive their first couple fights are ultimate badasses with 200 kills under their belt at 13 years of age.  Basically, Cacames are dirt common in goblin civs.

Because they're the remnants of their extremely Darwinian upbringing, they tend to make natural warband leaders.
