It's a pain always configuring them. I usually keep them at max because that's what I mostly need. Is there some other way than the buttons on your monitor?
(I decided to try sticking with full brightness and 75% contrast for now. Seems brightness has no effect on how well I see that stuff. I might also try 50% contrast but any lower then that will be worse for any kind of activity.)

So yeah I suck at drawing, or at least, am not as good as the people in this thread.

I just played a little with Inkscape gradients... well painting invisible monster in dark is not that hard when you think about it
