You do realize that Snipers are simply ordinary rifles that have scopes? WE CAN JUST PUT A DAMN SCOPE ON IT LATER!


Also note Simo Hayha who snipes with only Ironsights, but still being completely effective.

Battle for Normandy: Wolf Battalions First Battle

Phantom:
Your men unload on the far side of the beach and begin setting up in a defensive position.

Taricus:
Your men are part of the first wave and as a result you only have a handful left pinned down in a hastily constructed barricade of 2 destroyed boats.
Men:
8x Riflemen ( M1 Carbine, and 3x M1 Cartridges )
6x MGs ( M1A1 Thompson, and 2x M1A1 Drums )
1x Medic ( 3x Med-Kit, and M1911 Colt, 3x Pistol Clips )

NewMuffin:
Your men unload on the far right of the beach and unload there almost at once your men are pinned down behind some destroyed Shermans.

You men land in the fray of the battle and you get scratched up a bit before finding cover ( - 2 Hp on all men )

Dwarmin:
Your men run off the boat and one of the riflemen nails a headshot on one of the Heavy MGs. You congratulate him after you take cover.


NPC Battalions:
The men fromt he first two waves are almost gone there are

20x Riflemen ( M1 Garand )
10x MGs ( M1A1 Thompson )
and 2x Medics scattered across the battlefield gather them up and rush the barbwire.


Your Battlefield Description:

Upon a hill in front of you lay 4 roads up a hill but they are surronded on both sides by a bunker on each side. In front of the hill is a series of trenches and sandbags with a line of barbwire keeping you back until you can get it cut.

Enemies:
55x Riflemen ( Karabiner 98k )
35x MGs ( MP 40 )
5x Medics ( Walter P22 )
10 Heavy MGs ( Mounted MGs in the bunkers )

More may arrive if you cant get them destroyed but you also have reinforcements on the way.

Taricus you cant take enemy equipment except ammo unless I say otherwise and you can buy russian weapons later

All considered, there's plenty of things you have to adjust for.

Distance, Wind, Corilis Effect, even the rotation of the Earth on extreme cases.

German Riflemen would also be fielding the Karabiner 98k, the Gewher 43, the Sturmgewher 44, and finally the MG42 and 34 for Gunners.

20 Lee Enfields with 30 clips

4*Sergeants
4*medics
12*privates

Also german SMGs: MP38 and the MP40

Any way advance up the beach from cover to cover, try to destroy the bunkers with my tanks.
