- A waiting list has formed for the other players -
Day 1: 1350
Location : Boiler Hall , near boiler 407.
Elevation : 720 (80 ft below ground level)
Connected to here : Pipe Tunnel (above)
Urist McBlooddeath (Jack )right hand/arm - burns
Inventory : Two plastic spoons
Repair Kettle
|5| (-2, no technical skills)(-1 still suffering from shock)=
|2|: You unplug the kettle, and try to open it up. You really have no idea how to even open it. You take and start prying the bottom(where the cord goes in!) off with a sharp rock. You break the the kettle and spill the remainder of the milk inside. Your dreams of cheese are over!
Examine Room
|4| : This is a large cavern. At the bottom is a few large boilers, which look like giant cheese pasteurizing vessels. There are several mushrooms growing on the wall. You suspect this cave would be the right humidity level for cheese aging.
Whistle
|2| : You whistle a godawful tune that sounds like a cat getting stuck in a screw pump. Most observers confuse it for being the call of a harpy.
Urist McGodisgood (vadia)right hand - severe burns, bandaged
Inventory : hammer handle (club), useless foods 2.5 kg
Patrol
|8| : You take a quick walk around the cavern. So far, no enemies spotted. You might have heard something, but probably not.
Examine Boiler
|10| - 2 (no technical ability) =
|8| : A boiler is a big cylinder with a fire being burned somewhere underneath. It seems full of insulation. It doesn't seem very hot, and there's a gauge on front. The needle points to a number somewhat close to zero. Seems like a problem.
Urist McMiner Man (adwarf)
Inventory : pickaxe, blasting powder, head lamp, lunch
Examine Surroundings |12| : You pace about the perimeter of the job site, surveying everything around. You're not a mechanic, but you find a few immediately obvious things.
The natural gas feed pipe to the boiler is leaking! No wonder it's not working... It will eventually fill up this cavern to the point the atmosphere is explosive. Problem is, it is located in a horizontal tunnel which is full of pipes , and they elbow down to the boiler. The pipe has been crushed by a fallen rock (along with several other pipes)
(WORK ORDER UPDATED)Fix Problem |3| : You're going to need to climb up there. You decide the easiest way is to start digging footholds in the rock to make a makeshift ladder up. Unfortunately, after digging for about twenty minutes you realize that the only way to get up there is find an entrance to the pipe tunnel.
Darvi Lammor
Still located in office slightly encumberedInventory : Mechanics tool box (stuffed), Welding set,
Fetch Equipment :
|8| You open your locker, grab as many wrenches, screwdrivers, etc. that you can and stuff it full. You also get a small set of gas cylinders and a small spool of welding wire(used for oxy-fuel welding). You are slightly encumbered by the tools.
Examine Schematics :
|4| You've reached the limit to what you can learn from the schematics. After another hour of retracing valves, pipes, etc. you once again redraw the schematics.

Nobles in Stogesplace Apartments
This hand written note says "The nobles in Stogeplace apartments have too low of a water temperature. Head to boiler 407 and see if you can find the problem. Oh , yeah, I've drew a schematic of the piping. Hope it helps. Oh, yeah, don't reroute 493, that's the sewage extraction line. "
You see a bunch of scribbles on the page. It'd take you a month to redraw this into something legible.
On the bottom of the page, Urist McMiner has written : "___________ FIX LEAKING NATURAL GAS PIPE "
