I remember reading something recently about some kind of worm-like thing living in methane ice here on Earth whose jaws are made a material far stronger than any man-made material. Scientists have been trying to study them to see if they can synthesize that stuff. So it's not unreasonable for a predetory alien worm to have a similar capability.
Each individual worm is at most 10cm long. We've observed termites that can chew through some plastics and even metals, especially for digging critters it's possible.

Looking at some of the artwork the mindworms appear to have a long beak that split into three parts, with a circular mouth similar to a tapeworm's behind that. I'm not entirely sure how the mindworms would attack vehicles and the like, but looking at the video for the Citizens Defence Force it appears to me that the mindworms use their beak to penetrate people's skulls instead of boring through the bone with their mouth.

Just my thoughts on the subject.

Maybe? Not entirely sure what you're talking about, to be honest.

Hmm.

This may sound stupid but, does having Planet Busters make other factions less likely to declare Vendetta? Why is it called Vendetta in this game anyway?

They are all supposed to be part of the UNS Unity although they are segmented into factions rather then nations so they are called vendettas in the game because they are disputes between factions even though the disputes may end with planet busters.

Having planet busters can make it less likely for factions to declare a vendetta on you although using them can cause everyone to declare vendetta on you. However the factions realise they are playing a game so if you are the strongest faction then you might have vendettas from everyone anyway.

They're called vendettas because they are conflicts between ideologies, not nations. Every base has its own little government, all united or divided by the ideology they represent. That's also why planned economics are literally a threat to Morgan and democracy is the same to Yang. Because they show a viable alternative way of life to the governments within each base.

But both Deidre and Morgan dislike Planned Economics.

But both Deidre and Morgan dislike Planned Economics.
And one wants the free market whilst the other wants a green economy. Both conflict with each others' survival.

I think there might be a paratrooper-type module for units.

Unless I'm mistaken, it's called Drop Pods and he already has them.

I know. I just always thought it was weird there was no faction that preferred Planned Economics and opposed both Deidre and Morgan.

Deidre opposes a free market, not a planned economy, as a free market has a tendency to let greed take priority over environmental protection.

I've always thought doing Planned Economy with Deirdre is a perfectly valid strategy in some cases, like pre-access to Green. But maybe I'm wrong. I haven't played as her for about eight years.

Okay, so, today this girl I know-Lauren, just took a sudden dis-interest in talking to me. Is she just on her period or something?
