One bed owned by two dwarves
« on: January 30, 2008, 04:14:00 pm »

I had a bed that listed two dwarves under the "Current Owner" line.  I think it was owned by two dwarves.

Now, whenever I assign a bed to either of those dwarves, it is automatically assigned to both!

Those two dwarves are married.

Yeah, oops, I just realized that.  There should still be a way to put them in separate beds.

Why? They will still have ugly dwarf children, if that's what you want to prevent. Currently, you could lock two married dwarves away from one another and they'll still have children.

I want to kill one of them without harming the other.  I have a water source going to the sleeping area, for flooding.

Hmm...killing the other would MENTALLY harm the one you want to keep.

I'm not really following here... why do you want to kill one of the two married dwarves, exactly?  And yes, killing one is going to create very bad thoughts for the other.

Then it only matters if they go to sleep at the same time.  Do they?  I've never bothered to check if they do.

Wait until one goes in and lock the door should work, too.

I've killed all of a dwarfs children, and spouse before and still had them be ecstatic. I used to make a habit of this in the old version, when food was actually difficult to get =P
