his is the rage against inaccuracy.

There are different types of rage?  As a fervent practitioner of rage I am surprised to hear this.

ehhh, he's not mad. you didn't strike a nerve or anything.

It's college. You are there to get galactically wasted.

Sorry, but... no?

I'm not going to disagree with you on your other points, but please don't make assumptions like this about people you've never met.  It looks a bit hypocritical.

I've always hated the "college is for booze and sex" argument.

HOLY S**T!!!  ??? ??? I leave for 18hrs and all this happens? Wow, I need to get on the ball.

Right, back to what people were saying against my comments.

A) I was half-joking. You should be able to recognise that.
B) I was talking about my age bracket (16-18) were guys predominantly go to parties in the hope of getting laid no matter how far-fetched this oppurtunity may be.

Now back to the present...

The 'college is for booze and sex' argument is there because once its legal, you're going to do it, as much as you can. (Drink and f**k)

"bizarre and probably unhealthy obsession" with it

No he is right... Some people in Highschool to college develop a Bizarre and VERY unhealthy obsession with it.

Though it isn't a secret that College is usually around the time people develop unhealthy habits (usually eating).

I don't really know. I think it's partly shyness. People don't want to admit that they have nothing to do and actually want to meet people, so they want some kind of incentive to go - beer, video games, bbq, girls, etc.

Alcohol and sex. Every man on the planet wants at least one.

Don't be an ass.  You don't get to declare who is what.

Unless you've got a poll with responses from every man on the planet, I'm going to ask you to speak with a little bit less misinformation.

Okay. Is there someone on the planet not driven by biological directives? Is this man a cyborg? If so that would be so awesome.

I don't think that biological directives force an individual to be interested in alcohol.

I also don't think that every individual "wants" sex or is even interested in it.  We may be clashing on the definition of "want" here, but I'm certain I could easily find a couple of men who don't particularly care that much about sexual activity.

Alright, let me rephrase it. Is there a man over the age of 50 on the planet who hasn't jacked off and isn't an Amish or other restrictive religion?

Masturbation is distinctly different from pursuing sexual activities with another individual, you know.

No, I can't name anyone in particular.  I don't know that much about 50-year-olds.
