stand guard

you stand guard. nothing happens.

Disarm the traps.

you look around for something to throw into the traps. after a bit of searching you find some scrap metal to throw in. one trap after another snap tight. no more threat from those things.

search the other houses but be cautious

you go into the next house. looks like the second floor came down. there is no way up or deeper in.
you go to the last house to take a look inside. the door is locked, though.

Go further in before adwarf gets there.

you go further in. there are doors to your left and right and a staircase (up/down) ahead of you.

Shoot the lock off

you shoot at the doorlock. to bad that there was an explosive charge connected to the door. you are so surprised by the small explosion that you fall on your ass. -1 bullet

stand next to dwarg with your weapon ready

you stand there waiting for dwarg to shoot the door open. BANG. you jumped away while dwarg landed on his ass.
