4+1+6=11
I advance the dwarven civilization (11-5=6) So that they can draw energy out of the land to make runes (mainly used for defense, although they can be used for offense as well if they come to attack you. They are created by carving them into the ground/walls (permanent), or drawing using chalk or some other dye (single cast)), they can't use very much magic for them , but combined with a stronger (non-dwarven) mage, their wards can be many times more powerful then regular spells, at the expense of taking much longer to create and being stationary. The most powerful of dwarven runesmasters are able to create the runes in the air or water with their mind, negating the only real downside to runic magic. AND so that they are able to enchant weapons with the runes they can create (the maximum strength depends on the skill of the enchanter, the material used to make the weapon and the quality of the weapon (eg. a wood training sword would get a almost useless enchantment, but a masterwork adamantium sword would be able to get a extremely strong one).
I spend 6 (6-6=0) points to create prism cats, for story reasons Ekona (negar avatar makes them creates them), BUT i spend the full price to create them, so their shouldn't be any objections.
Name: Prism cats
Size: Leopard sized
Appearance: They look like a snow lepoard, and have a small gem in the middle of their forehead, that can shoot a beam of condensed light (or a laser)
Prismatic Beam: it takes 12 hours of sunlight to charge up, and can store a single charge. In the land of light it takes 3 hours to charge up a blast and can store two charges. A single blast on unprotected skin is very dangerous and powerful, however a blast can be blocked by a good set of leather armor.
Planeswalkers: They can freely travel between the worlds and dimensions (right now their is only the negar and the regular world), since they are cats, and nothing can stop a cat from going where they want to.
Bonding: Sometimes prism cats will bond to sentients. The bonding is so powerful, they don't age while bonded (so a elf could have one a thousand years), but they usually die within the week after the person they bond to dies.
Hunting: Prism cats hunt in packs of three, the first one will try to use a prismatic blast cripple its victim from far away and to separate it from the herd and stop it from running away. And the second one will kill it at close range with another blast. The third one saves its prism charge so that if they are attacked by anything they still have a bit of defense. They will hunt lone sentients, but refrain from hunting groups, due to the danger involved.
"They said I was mad," Ekona ranted "even the other negar think that this plan of mine is madness, but ill show them, ill show them ALL."
He had puts lots of preperation into this, he had found a large mana pool and combined with the power that he would put into them and the mana pool, he would be able to make a new species, something that only the gods could regularly do.
"Soon my evil-laser-kittens will help turn all those fools into negar. They will see them, and unable to attack them due to their concentrated cuteness will fall before a combination of negar might and evil-kitten-laser attacks."
It was a few minutes to the exact time that the moon would be fully gone from the sky, and he began to channel the entire energy of the negar race, focusing it into the mana pool, the cost would be great, even to the extent of crippling his magical abilities and weakening the negar for the next hundered years, but it would be worth it.
Exactly at midnight, he released the energy, perfectly crafted and insanely complex. With a flash, where there was a mana pool, there were now 10 prism kittens.
However, he had failed to take something into account, that no matter how much power he had, cats were above such petty things as morality, so despite him succeeding in creating laser-cats, he ultimately failed.
When he realized this, he decided to kill them, and recycle the vast amounts of magical energy used to create them, but too late he realized he was unable, for he had made them TOO cute, and even he was unable to kill them while they were kittens.
9 of the Prism Cats left to explore the world, but the last one bonded to him.
Ekona named him Lord Fluffykins, and gave him dominion over all of the Cats in the world
