I listen to alot of different bands, from the cutest twee songs you can name, to the sickest (name)core you can find, from the classical to the classics, but for the life of my I have never found myself enjoying that band. Not once, and I did give it a very decent try.

Ah, k. Understandable.

:D

Kinda like with Audioslave, though, I never really liked them as much as the bands from which their members were drawn.
A Perfect Circle is one of the few exceptions.
I like it more than Tool, and I like Tool a lot.

I liked some of tool.
Tool was the kind of band I listened to while doing other things, rather then just sit and focus on. In that way they sort of remind me of a few post rock bands like Godspeed You Black Emperor.
Here is 'rockets fall on rocket falls', by said band.
EDIT: Warning: over a minute wait before the song starts.

So I noticed a great crime had been commited. Nobody had mentioned 'They might be giants' yet! These guys are gods of the collage rock scene, and I have no doubt you have heard some of there songs in the past, but these guys were doing awesome back when DF graphics were the standard. Here are some songs by them, enjoy.
Istanbul Not Constantinople
You're not the boss of me now (the malcolm in the middle theme song)
Dr worm
The Mesopotamians

Breaking Benjamin - "Blow Me Away"
http://www.youtube.com

Seriously. Just type 'Blow Me Away' into youtube and take your pick of the music videos. Some are called 'Only the strongest will survive'. Bloody idiots. They can't even call the song the right name.

Can I assume you know about that song through Halo? Because realy? I mean realy? Next thing you'll be linking us to somebody playing Call of duty to the tune of 'The Rolling Stones - Sympathy For The Devil'! It sort of reminds me of this little ditty.

But let's get something else in. The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart - Stay Alive.

I know of it through random downloads on iTunes.

I could never find the actual full song in Halo. I don't know why, I couldn't find it with the words. Anyway it stands alone really well and it fits great to almost any video featuring video game violence, confrontation, or 300. It's all good.

P.S. I don't play Call of Duty, or listen to The Rolling Stones.

You know, it's strange that. The first band I ever realy liked, because just by chances I turned the tv on and there film clip was playing, was the gorillaz. They were a doorway into the wonderful world of music for me. Before that music was just that thing that came out of the radio and I didn't pay much attention to bands. So, you would think that with a band like the gorillaz, especialy as I tuned into 'clint eastwood', I would be a bigger rap fan then I am.

I don't hate rap, far from it! There are some works that I love, but in my collections it is the rarest to stumble across. But let's get some of that good old magic going with 'Gorillaz - Re-Hash'

Damn you Ein. When I read "not safe for sanity", I assumed it would be this kind of "fucked up" xP. Eh, I prefer "Border of Death" anyway.

On topic:
Sync Arts: Sweets Time
Alstroemelia Records: Plain Asia
EastNewSound: 緋色月下、狂咲ノ絶
EastNewSound: 無炎舞踊≠循環
Dark PHOENiX: The sealed away Youkai$
Dark PHOENiX: Battle of spirits throughout Gensokyo (that one's actually made of fridge brilliance. It's a remix of Sakuyas Stage theme and the Persona 3 final boss theme. You know what comes after those? ZA WARUDO!)

As for non-touhou music...

Nightwish: Ghost Love Score (you probably know it already, but meh)
Lost Tribe: Gamemaster and its tons of remixes
Pretty much anything by Jonathan Coulton and They Might Be Giants

I'd fucking play COD to Sympathy for the Devil. There's something wrong with that?
